Cool for him. Wonder what he could have actually done with Morris if he had his full time with him. He loved Morris when he first laid eyes on him. I will say this about whipple, at least he TRIED to be creative under Shannon's rule nonetheless, and besides fisch he's the best OC we have had here in a while, sadly. Sorry coley, your gameplan was incredibly predictable this year. Hope he improves as an OC and I'm sure he will.

Props to whip for landing that gig.

Good for him. I thought his schemes were good, for the most part. We'd hurry up and run, and abuse the run when it was there.

In Whipple's offense the deep looks were there as long as the ball didn't hang for that extra 45 seconds.

I am not sure if Whipple was a good OC. Whipple had the following players

Wideouts
Hankerson -NFL
Benjamin -NFL
Byrd -NFL
Streeter -NFL

Tightends
Jimmy Graham -NFL
Chase Ford -NFL

Running backs
Miller -NFL
James -NFL
Berry -NFL

With all that talent playing on the same team our offense was not good.

You forgot to list one pretty important piece to that puzzle. Where is the trigger man for that group playing now? It's tough to excel as an offense with a turnover prone, noodle armed quarterback. Harris was Whipple's Achilles heel.

I am not sure if Whipple was a good OC. Whipple had the following players

Wideouts
Hankerson -NFL Good
Benjamin -NFL okay
Byrd -NFL Nope
Streeter -NFL Nope

Tightends
Jimmy Graham -NFL ALL PRO....never did **** here
Chase Ford -NFL You should be negged..

Running backs
Miller -NFL one year..okay
James -NFL Okay
Berry -NFL okay...

With all that talent playing on the same team our offense was not good.

He had one good WR in Hank, Streeter did nothing until 2011....the lamar saved Jacory kept Defenses honest ( see our team when duke went down)

He worked miracles with what he had to do here...

Whipped had good game plans for the first 4 games. Then he kept the same game plans every game after and made 0 adjustments. He and his partner in crime Jacory Harris were a miserable combination.

If you think Whipple is not a corch you need to watch the game at UNC his first year.

LOL at Whipple being a good OC. Some posters were about as frustrated with the offense and Jacory's development as a QB as we are about our defense now.
