I didn’t appreciate Nickel’s athleticism until his senior season, starting with the Heritage game.

He throws accurately on the move, he’s fluid, and his thickness (Razor Ramon gif) makes him a capable runner.

I'm virtually certain I saw him (Nickel) do this in a highlight during regular season, too. He's definitely taking a page from Ward.

He was throwing dimes last night. Everything was downfield 10-15+ yards. It don’t recall seeing many quick screens or anything. Oh, he uses the whole field and TE too, Barbour is a monster. Going to UGA though…

Some poster on here was trying to say we should go after Air Norland and that he's better than Nickel. I couldn't stop laughing. This kid will be the next great QB at the U(after Matter leaves).

The only reason we've needed the top Portal QB over the last 2 seasons is because we missed on landing a legitimate starter from HS in those 2 classes.

Luke Jefferson Coin is a HIT, therefore, when the time comes for him to play we won't be as desperate for a Portal QB because we'll know we have something with him.

Air is a dawg too. I remember when Air was a pup as well. He’s no slouch. I think Luke is more suited for us, because he’s more in a pro/RPo style type of offense where he can run too. Air is more drop back, but will run if needed. They both can sling the pill though.
