When you sit back and think....

Coulda, woulda, shoulda.

Get it done and win the games.

Not much of a need to analyze that.

Miami has played some competitive **** teams the last 2 months. I know uva has a terrible record but they took Louisville to the brink to which they had to score a last minute touchdown and we handled them rather easily. Let's be honest nc state should have beat both Clemson and fsu and are a better team then their record indicates. That's 7 straight weeks of pretty tough opponents and Miami could of and should have won every game even with a young team. Regardless it bolds well for the future, there is a ton of talent on the team and I love the new and improved defense..

App state 8-3
Ga Tech 7-4
Fsu 8-3
UNC 8-3
Va tech 8-3
Notre Dame 4-7
Pittsburgh 7-4
Virginia 2-9
NC State 5-6

On another note I think the coastal is stronger top to bottom than the Atlantic division this year too

It is tough to tell if our winning streak is due to adjustments and improvement or because we are back to playing subpar teams.

What makes people think Kaaya will be better next year?

He's nearly three full seasons in and he still has mostly the same flaws. He was a stone handed defender away from having his first pass of the game picked on a terrible throw yesterday. Still doesn't appear to progress through his reads. Made some **** good throws, but so do a lot of QBs that also don't win enough games.

Win out and ride the momentum to a great signing class by using it to sell recruits like brock is trying to do.

The astute guys already know that, overall, it's been a disappointment and that we achieved nothing of substance as a team. It's already been beaten to death on both sides.

Only real question is this: Will Rick hold true to form and continue losing most big games while winning around 10 games per year, or will he break through and start winning some big games and get a conference title?

I don't understand how people don't see the big picture. I guess they just prefer to hope and believe then use rational thought and logic.

Best win of the season was the Pitt win.

They've beaten two top 10 teams.

PSU and Clemson

Yes, it is by far the best win. They're 7-4, lost to UNC and VT. They're 4th in the coastal. Not that special.
Lost by to 3 by Oklahoma state, unc and Virginia tech. They are a good team

Do you get more points for losing by a few points?

They're the 4th best team in the Coastal. They're our best win but they're simply an above average team.

and will he turn around our currently atrocious recruiting class, pick up some blue chippers and stop getting "Golden De-committed" from our current studs?

Jesus Christ.

Not sure why people curse in the name of the only man who is able to save them from everlasting death.

Jesus Christ gave up his life so you can have life after death. Be thankful for that ,believe it and accept the gift that is being offered to you.

True enough.

You want to beat Clemson? Beat Florida State first. Beat Notre Dame when they are trying to give you the ball game.

And stop the f**king holding penalties in the red zone.

Shut up

Wth? Y'all got issues on this **** board. It's Like y'all mad we won the games. I don't get some of the posters on here. We had a bad October it is what it is. And Fvck you

Why don't you have a cry.

I don't know about you Brock, but I am disappointed in our season. This is the first one in awhile I actually let myself get upset about the outcome. We shouldn't be happy with this outcome. I see no reason to make endless threads supporting this team. That makes me no less a fan. This is football. We play to win the ******* games Brock. I'm not a fan of handing out participation trophies for our performance. Those things have value outside the football field.

This is a man's game. Win me some ******* football games. For ****'s sake, can we beat FSU one year? How about the **** coastal division? That **** is our ours to take and we aren't doing it Brock. I'll cheer along with you once we start taking back what is our rightful place in college football.

Jesus Christ.
we have a bunch of young guys playing at crucial spots.

First, the offense. We have 10 of 11 starters returning on the offense. The difference is we lost R. Scott and now have A. Richards (you know the stud). In our four losses, we averaged 19 points per game. In those four losses, we averaged 328 total yards per game.

Here is the murders row of defenses we faced in those games:

FSU

Total D: 48th (384.6 YPG)
Scoring D: 57th (26.6 PPG)

UNC

Total D: 74th (415.9 YPG)
Scoring D: 55th (26.4 PPG)

VT

Total D: 15th (329 YPG)
Scoring D: 24th (21.2 PPG)

ND

Total D: 37th (371.5 YPG)
Scoring D: 46th (25.5 PPG)

To review:

1. One top 25 defense
2. Average Total D is 44th
3. Average Scoring D is 46th
4. In ACC Play (all 7 opponents), Miami is averaging 28 Points Per Game
5. In ACC Play (all 7 opponents), Miami is averaging 387 Yards Per Game

So essentially the same offense, is still yielding poor results. Last year's offense was led by James Coley, he is the WR coach at UGA. Last's years offense was bad. This years offense is slightly less bad. It isn't hard to out perform James Coley, especially when you have an older and more experienced offense.

Random Tidbit: Our best offensive performance was against Pitt when we scored 51 points. Pitt is 101st in Total D and 109th in Scoring D. They have the worst D we have played so far in conference.

------------------

Second, the defense. What needs to be said. New DC comes in, leads some freshman LB and makes dramatic improvement.

Miami's Scoring D is 13th or 19.3 PPG
Miami's Total D is 24th or 353.7 YPG
