When we beat FSU and Tech back to back...

We won't jump Oregon. The pollers love them and their strength of schedule remaining is good enough to stay top 2

I'm so sick of the love affair with an over-rated PAC12.

me too. The fact that Stanford is 6th in the nation, and regarded so highly by the media still after losing to an UNRANKED Utah team at HOME is the most ridiculous crap i've seen outside of the usual SEC bias. UCLA is overrated, and you saw how high Washington was earlier this year for no reason, they already dropped three games so they are a big bust. It's crap and everyone knows it.

Did you mean they lost to Utah, in Utah? Because that's what's happened.

Why is the Pac10 overrated, exactly?

What conference isn't overrated, according to this board?

We would jump Oregon if we beat FSU and Vtech. Can you imagine the headlines ? We would be "BACK" for real. We'd be 9-0.... with Duke UVA and Pitt left... The hype would be crazy. But lets beat Wake first lol

An undefeated ACC team is not passing an undefeated SEC team or Oregon. It sucks but its true.

The BCS order if all stay undefeated is:

Undefeated SEC team
Oregon
Undefeated ACC team
OSU
Undefeated Big12 team

4 and 5 are close and can probably be flipped, the others can not.

I bet somehow by the end of the year there will only be two undefeated teams, its worked out that way more-so than the other, thank god we will go to playoff next year although it needs to be 8 not 4 but they will figure that out in year two

I'll feel better about the FSU and VT games if Morris gets his head out of his *** and starts making better decisions.

VT should be a lot hire ranked..

clemson lost to FSU number 5 and is 10th

VT lost to Bama in a good game...and is lucky to be in the top 20....

I know its all set up from the summer polls,....but this BS is what keeps teams from huge pay days.

MIZZ jumped for one reason so they have can SEC teams in the top 10....

if they would just put Williams in I like our chances way better, Morris will not get his head out nor suddenly start making good decisions, he`s been here 5 years bro

Here is where style points come into play.
It we play mistake free football. Don't commit too many dumb penalties and for the most part stay within 1 score or lead by 1 score in these games then we will have a chance to Jump Oregon.

IF we making turnovers and somehow win these games because of the other teams mental errors then the pollsters will not believe we that good.

FSU will be #3 or #2 when we play them. VaTech by default will be at least #10 when we play them. Back 2 Back wins over a "top 10" team and a "top 5" team would be better than anything else anyone has done to that point in the season.

Now its comes back to the ****** preseason polls and *** *** love affair. And yes I'm talking about Stanford, they beat an overrated UCLA team (ppl will say the same about us if FSU wins). lost to UTah but are still getting love because ppl thought they were good at the beginning of the year.

Your talking about beating FSU twice...when you should be worried about figuring out how to beat them the first time. By far the hardest game we will play during the regular season. Just Sayin'

I don't think anybody on this board needs to figure out how wer're going to beat FSU, the beauty of being just a fan lol. I get what you're saying but we here (nobody on the staff or team) have to do any game planning and can afford to talk about whatever. Rather it be done by us than AG and the team.

MIZZ is undefeated in their first year in the SEC and has beaten UF and UGA in back-to-back weeks. Safe to say they've earned a top 10 ranking.

This is in reference to benubird post earlier... Apparently i didnt reply with a quote lol

Turnovers and all what did he do on the final drive... Led us to victory... 4 turnovers and he was still poise enough to get his head out of his *** and lead us 90 yards down the football field... That says a lot... YET!!! Instead of looking at key points how we overcame adversity without duke without dorsett playing ****** on the road... Yall still want to relish on the past and give no ***** how he overcame all that lead us to victory... If after all those turnovers he would of been down on himself... No way we wouldve won because the team follows HIS lead and they saw that he was still confident and led us to a win. Do i condone him in being turnover happy the last two games **** NO!!! But yall need to let the past go and focus on the task at hand. We had four turnovers and all we still had over 500 total yards of offense and still pulled out the W that to me means waaaaay more! Overcoming adversity.

Its Mizzous second yr in the SEC. And they beat a UGA team that is BROKEN! And they jumped us for beating the same team we already beat this yr! Go figure.....And UF had a back up qb, and lost their best DT. I mean ****, the irony.... That is the SEC bias.

And if the SEC is so amazing why are two of the best teams the ones that just got there? A&M and Mizzou? I mean those teams barely ever did squat in the Big12 but now they are world beaters in the big bad SEC? I dont get it. I do think there are some real good teams in that conference and the top of that conference has been even better. But they surely get the benefit of the doubt as well. I guess you could say deservedly, but I think there is a major bias.

In the end we just need to do what other teams have not. Take care of this U! And let the rest shake out. And when we get a shot at an SEC team, SPANK THAT ***! Just like we did with Uf and Clem did with UGA and FSU will to UF. Lets slowly take that conference down a peg or three and then there will be no bias just proof!

Well placed gif Bomb. Well Played. Get up in dat *** LARRY! Eat a snickers up in dat ***** and throw the wrapper on the ground!
IF we somehow beat FSU we will suddenly be in the conversation and will be top 3 IMO. Then it becomes a beauty pageant.

The problem is that the weekend that we would presumably be beating VT, Oregon would presumably be beating Stanford and Alabama would presumably be beating LSU.

As of now, those are both better wins than anything we have left on the schedule, including that VT game.

The only way I see us jumping either of those two teams if we all won out, and even this is a long-shot, is if FSU loses another ACC game, and Clemson runs the table in dominant fashion, AND the Pac-12 South and SEC East put forward weak 3-loss or so teams into their conference championship. We'd beat a possibly top 10 Clemson team while Alabama and Oregon hopefully struggled with a barely ranked conference opponent.

That's a LOT of things to ask for and even then... less than 50/50 chance IMHO. One of those teams would have to look really, really bad in at least two close wins against bad teams for this to get going.

**** OSU. If we're undefeated and we're not ranked ahead of them and their weak *** SOS, I'm going to get all up in that ***.

who started this thread?? Is this Stephen Morris?? Is this why you threw 4 int's vs UNC?? Man get back into the playbook please if this is you!

Lets point out, that the analysts are already predicting Oregon to jump over FSU in the later half of the season. If they are predicting Oregon to jump FSU, which has the most impressive win of all teams on the season, then what makes you think us beating FSU twice, who supposedly will get jumped, and VT, who is obviously being looked over in the polls as it is, will help us to jump Oregon. In all seriousness, if Oregon or Alabama do not lose, we will not jump to #2 or #1. Maybe if we absolutely demolish FSU both times and VT, then maybe we jump them.

I'm just being real about it. I hope we do, but I'm just saying what is likely the truth.
