WHEN RECRUITED LAMAR JACKSON

IIRC Louisville beat Nebraska for him at first. UF recruited him late but didn't promise he'd stick at QB. FSU wanted him to play safety. Clemson chose Kelly Bryant over him.

Lamar wasn't going to be the same player here under Richt at all, he made the right choice
They say Miami didnt care for him @ QB anyway 🤷‍♂️

Fair point. Had he been playing TE, they likely beat Buffalo. Very selfish.
They wouldn't have been in that position if he doesn't turn the ball over twice in the first place.

Lamar is a front runner. When the Defense plays well & we get an early lead, he plays great. But when you need him to put the team on his back & lead us to victory in a hostile environment, he chokes every single time.

8 years in the league, 0 Superbowl appearances, 1 AFC title game (which of course was a loss), with a 3-5 playoff record.

Great College QB, overrated Pro.

One thing for certain, he cannot get it done when it's crunch time.

lol I take it you don't think he should've been named MVP over Allen?

Saquon Barkley should've been the MVP, he pretty much carried Philly to a Superbowl.

But I don't really care about MVP's, that's an individual award. We need Championships & with Lamar we can't even get to one.

I can see that. Barkley absolutely carried them.

What do you think Baltimore should do? Is there anything that can get him over the hump or his this just who he is at this point?

Bonus question. Is Allen or Jackson more likely to win a championship?

The first thing we need to do is move on from John Harbaugh. He's been living off that 1 Superbowl from 13 years ago, where Flacco, Ray Rice, Anquon Boldin, Jacoby Jones & the Defense saved his ***. But his message has gotten old & stale. The team doesn't respond to him anymore & he's just wasting good Defenses every year because it's already a guarantee no matter how well they play, the Offense will come up short when it matters most.

2nd; After you replace Harbaugh with a new Coach, draft another QB.

The only thing Lamar can do is go see a sports psychologist & try to figure out why he's always overwhelmed by the big moments. But otherwise, there's nothing that can be done, that's just who he is. In the NFL, you either have it or you don't & he's shown he's doesn't have it.

Pat Mahomes has won 3 Superbowls with 5 straight AFC titles in his career; That's championship pedigree, it's just in his DNA.

Jalen Hurts has won a 1 SB with 2 NFC titles; That's Championship pedigree.

****, even Brock Purdy has made it to 2 SB's & Joe Burrow has at least made it to one, Lamar hasn't even won the AFC yet & we're heading into year 9 of his career.

As far as who's more likely between him & Josh Allen, idk, I'm not sure either one of them are as good as advertised.

Well Lamar would have been a Redshirt Senior this year so we recruited Rosier and Kaaya over him
Wasn't Rosier recruited out of HS on UM's part as an "Athlete," as opposed to pure QB. I know he always saw himself as a QB but ...

we went after the heritage ob that went to Ohio State and then tried to get Lamar on the last day
