A legit, program changing big man?

NCAA stuff is behind us, program has had success for multiple years now, facilities aren't an excuse, great location. Obviously Larranaga can develop, just wondering when that is gonna pay off recruiting wise.

We have to find find those diamonds in the rough, cant compete recruiting wise with those big time basketball schools

Just off the top of my head Mclellan angel and newton were all espn top 100. Talented blue chip prospects want to play for Larranaga. It's only a matter of time before a one and done is headed to miami.

Kamari Murphy led Okie State in rebounds last year. Him next to Tonye next year will be lethal.

One would think that once we become a perennial tourney team that selling Miami as a one-and-done destination would be beyond easy. The real question is whether Larrañaga wants to go that route and if the administration would (stupidly) get on some phony high horse against it.

Tashawn Thompson i believe is his name PF from Hou that transfered to Oklahoma over us woulda been so huge for us this year.

THIS is Larranaga's problem. School needs to let him have more money to find players, probably overseas.(Whatever the NCAA permits). He's not going to get ANYONE worthwhile away from Duke, UNC, Kentucky, or even U Conn and ND. Has to settle for scraps.

Landing D.H. from norland would mean something. Not going to happen but would be a huge pull

How many game-changing big men are there right now in college basketball? You can probably count them all on one hand, if there are that many. You have one at Duke and two at Kentucky.

Sure, let's ignore the guy who might win the Naismith at Wisconsin.

Also, while there may not be many game-changing big men, the teams that do have them are all top seeds (1 or2) for the most part.
