I actually do agree with him to an extent. College athletes do get exploited all the times and it's wrong. And the UM Media Policy is a joke.

But trading cards at a basketball games? I don't see a problem with that.

Miami is not selling them.

Also, they are worth approximately $0.00 dollars right now plus whatever it cost to get them made.

Selling game programs with the players photos inside and/or on the cover is exploitative then? GTFOH

if you can only get the cards at the game, then its not a free, trying to take advantage of recruiting craze while selling tickets at BUC

He is right.

Oh I forgot where they get FORCED to play football on a full ride scholarship to a university that at least 75% of the kids who get the schollys would never get into without their skill sets..

lets not forget the helping hand they get which includes more tutoring and making sure they can leave with a piece of paper of a diploma in the end

He's referring to Miami's rule that freshmen cannot speak to the media.

So what? College football is a billion dollar industry that pays nothing to the workforce. **** Miami and it's degree.

it's a free piece of paper with a name on it, if pete and whoever are going to agree with that bull**** I give up.

I don't see a problem with it. If anything it's helping these kids build their 'brand' and allows for people around the community to become more familiar with them.

That I agree is wrong. What a dumb policy.

More like modern day serfdom, not slavery.
