What's the deal with Jedd Fisch?

The problem is the majority of the fans say "Oh well we tried" or "we cant run the ball", when were not ripping off 6+ a carry, automatically they assume we cant run it

When you pound the ball, you might only be getting 3 yrds a pop in the first half, but when you start to rip the long runs is in the 2nd half after youve been pounding the ball all game, thats when you see the 5 and 6 ypc come

Yep.

Ain't nuthin' wrong with getting 2 yards on 1st and 2nd down, and then trying to convert a manageable 3rd and 6. Those 2-yard runs can turn into 4-yard runs.

Plus, we should've tried to shorten the game after we took the 10-0 lead. That obviously wasn't going to hold up, but don't give FSU additional possessions by playing fast when it isn't working.

Also, the bigger runs will help add to the higher average per carry. More runs = higher chance of hitting those long ones.

A disturbing trend I've noticed with Fisch is his scripted plays always work well. We come out like monsters and everything works and then he ***** his pants.

This is why I believe after the 2nd drive, our offense looked completely different, because the 1st 2 drives were scripted, then he **** the bed when he had to actually call em

Fisch has some head scratchers at times, like his insistance on throwing every single time on first down, but overall I think he's a solid OC. I'm in the camp that the bigger problem is Morris being horrible at seeing the field. Most of our missed scoring opportunities this season have been from drops, or Morris making the wrong read, not the play call.

The 3rd and 2 redzone call was the worst of them all. Should have tried to go for the 1st down instead of the TD. We have no identity on O and our running game should be much better.

This is the thing that's killing me, even if FSU is stacking the box 15 carries is not sufficient enough to say let's abandon it.

The announcer alluded to golden calling the plays in the first series. I'm assuming golden has scripted plays for the first 10 or 15 plays and then Fisch takes over. It looked like two completely different coordinators from the first two drives to the rest of the game. Dude just doesn't believe in running the ball and with a qb who can't make all the throws, a receiving corps that keep dropping passes and a defense that has a hard time getting stops thats pretty retarded.

Golden better get in his *** and quick or his BS play calling is gonna cost us more games.

Mike James was wide open on that play. Morris made the wrong read.
