Update for those wondering. He’s still in the minors for the Mets playing 3B. Still has yet to be called up. All-around average.

Thompson's slot bonus was $474,800, and he came out as a Jr. so he likely got it with the leverage he had. Not MLB/NFL money for sure but I'm sure he's doing fine financially.
