What's happen to the RB position?

Plus, I really hate to say this but Karlos Williams from FSU has the physical traits to be a 1st rd pick if he stays healthy/produces... There just haven't been game changers at the position the last few years coming out of cfb. Next year could be absolutely loaded. Gurley is a beast, I see another Garrison Hearst, Yeldon kind of reminds me of Curtis Martin, he just allows falls forward and gets at least 3-5 yards a carry, Duke reminds me of Thurman Thomas, Gordon is another stud.
This crap goes through cycles... Everyone wanted to replicate the Pats style of dink and dunk offense, but look who won last year and the year before... Teams with a stout defense and a solid to great running game.

Duke's work ethic and talent will prove too difficult to pass on. Won't last pass the second round. This years draft is not comparable to the next two years in regards to runningbacks or the previous years. Even if Gurley, Yeldon or Dude from Whiskey is rated higher their all rated as potential first round backs and would've been rated higher than the top rb in this years draft.

Duke compares most favorably to Lache Seastrunk he's 5'8" 200 lbs and was the most explosive RB at the combine in terms of his vertical and broad jump and a **** good 40 time too and he just went in the 6th round. freeman from fsu went in the 4th round. i would be very surprised if duke was a 1st day pick just because they way the league views the position now.

Duke's draft position is hardly set in stone right now. Anyone who ventures to say otherwise is a fool.

The only thing Duke needs to prove is his durability... He can't stay healthy... The kid can do everything which works in his favor... As you said everything works in a cycle... The backs next year practically carry their respective squads... We won't be waiting until the 3rd day for those backs... Yeldon, Gurley and Duke all possess traits that can work in any system...

The fact that the NFL is a passing league bodes well for Duke in my opinion. Won't be asked to carry the ball 20+ times a game.

Yeldon not even the best back on his team he fumbles too much
Drake and Henry gonna take son spot b

No they won't... The kid had a few fumbles but he's legit and consistent... Henry is something serious... He's going to beast for the next 2 years... If they can't find a qb, run the triple-option...
