What will it take for us to really go after linemen.

I want to see a few recruiting cycles where linemen are the coaches number 1 must get. Get me 3 star skill players behind 4/5start linemen, and have a good team. We have a 5 star running back who we have not really seen run the ball. I want the New Miami be a an era where we recruit linemen the hardest.

TBH it may be a geographic issue in recruiting ... Most of the elites 4* and 5* lineman are in the heart of the $ECouth, Midwest, North (Like the fact we ARE reaching up there -NYC anes ) South West regions.

If we can't keep the elite talent to stay home it's going to be a hard pull to bring them down here and that's 95 +5 = I let you all say the last line.....

Yeah, I mean I’m sure the staff is like “let’s kinda go after linemen. Half *** it. A couple 2-3 stars.”
Now? “Let’s really go after some linemen.”

Miami needs big thick coed groupies to entertain the linemen when they come on visits and then sign with UM. Big boi's want big girls, and the little kale eating Princesses that attend UM are not giving them the time of day. But when these big boi's go to college town schools they have big girls lined up by the bushel.

Then add in the $EC Bagman and it's a done deal. #BigBottomBeautiesPlusBagsEqualsBigBoiCommits

It’s hard for me to picture these types of women. You’d have to show me.

Now this is one of your better pics !!!

I've been saying over recruit the trenches to right the ship....our fans seem to worry about losing dbs and skill players which are already better than every team in the coastal...Miami OL could be the worse in conference....also, evals and player development are just as important.

WE ARE TRYING TO RECRUIT LINEMEN!!!!! They just don't seem to want to play at Miami for some unknown reason. We may get one a year, which isn't getting it done.

It took a long time for Dabo to pull really strong four and five star OL. It also takes a legitimate investment. Line talent takes up a pretty significant line item on the balance sheet.

Miami needs to evaluate better, coach up what we do get better, and perform better on the field before we can think about getting truly top flight line talent. We occasionally get some top talent...four and five star level talent...but they tend to be the types of players that - if this were NCAA 14 - after scouting would drop from a 80 OVR to a 74 OVR with that broken red gem. The problem with most fans here...they fail to recognize that these players are not exactly that promised 80 OVR once they step foot on campus and they don't readjust. Navaughn Donaldson is a prime example.

Next yr's O-line is gonna be nasty. Real nasty

Theoretically next year and following year OL should be a major strength. Things happen (transfers, injuries, etc) but

2020:
Nelson SO
Donaldson SR
Gaynor JR
Clark SO
Scaife JR

2021
Nelson JR
Reed/Rivers/Traore
Gaynor SR
Clark JR
Scaife SR

Add in Jarren will be a soph 2020 and JR in 2021 and we should be something special on offense the next 2 years.
