What was the final attendance numbers for the uva game

The attendance in the seats was quite weak, but there were a lot of people inside, because it was pouring, especially in the first half.

Oregon / Arizona game at campus stadium was half empty, beginning of 3Q when students realized thru instagram twitter what was going on, students poured into the stadium and fill it out.

The attendance in the seats was quite weak, but there were a lot of people inside, because it was pouring, especially in the first half.

Rain started to come down hard late in the 2nd qrt and most of the fans that were there headed for the concourse. I held out more than most but the rain combined with the wind made it pretty uncomfortable. As halftime wore on, you could tell people were getting pretty comfortable with being inside and I was not surprised most did not make it back out for the 2nd half. I wasn't mad though since it allowed me to significantly upgrade my seats and get a better look at the asian and hot little blonde cheerleader (green outfits) soaked and wet and shivering from the cold for my amusement.

One other thing I saw while standing on the concourse. During halftime, rain coming down hard, I looked out towards the parking lot and saw more than a few people sitting under their tailgate awnings. Always wondered why someone would buy all that tailgating stuff, all those UM flags, car magnets, ect. and just sit out in the parking lot watching the game on their little tv's or listening to the game on the radio instead of coming into the stadium to watch it live. Just don't get this

Not as many as was reported and not as few as speculated here. My best guess would be we had maybe 30K to 33K actually in the entire stadium. I am betting half or more watched much of the game from somewhere under cover and not in their seats.

It was a joke. I'll bet under any reasonable number. There were entire sections with either no spectators or less than 10. Not an exaggeration. I never saw anything like that in the Orange Bowl. Parking was so thin we got there at the same time and were directed to an area that's normally full if you arrive an hour earlier. When I walked around the upper deck at halftime, per usual, it was so barren I never had to change course to avoid anyone.

Adjustments. Everyone loves happy adjustments. That's aligns in this case with claiming everybody was magically indoors. Maybe so, but not in the stadium.

With an on-campus stadium there are activities all day and the participation funnels to the game. Every aspect is far superior.

some ppl prefer the TV then live. u get more angles, commentary (injury updates), better view really unless ur near the 50. they go for the tailgating atmosphere and hang out. also, some of the ppl they go w may have tickets which is why they're still at the stadium after the game starts.

lol find a place on campus. theres no room and if u think there is, u clearly haven't been on campus at all. the OB had its fair share of empty stadiums. when ur mediocre for so long along w most of the student population home for thanksgiving, ur not gonna draw. (even in 01 we didnt sell out every game. just the big ones like we do now). the three game losing steak killed everyones excitement and u factor that in w the noon start and the rain, its ugly.
