What would you guys like to see us add or change. Ideas can be about anything, whether that is how we cover a topic or a technical function of the website.

I know you guys are short staffed with limited access to players, but more current player interviews would be nice. Or maybe you can set something up wherein a current commit/recruit writes about the recruiting process so we, as fans, can get an inside look how recruiting is from the inside.


Just a few thoughts.
 
I don't post much, but an icon put on the thread that you posted on so you can easilly follow it up. (Not sure if this is alredy present but I haven't seen it)

Order a little box in the right upper quadrant when you enter a forum that shows all the threads you have participated in and you can click on to follow up on.

An easier way to jump from one forum to another (perhaps a drop down box under forum tab that lists the other forums).

Don't know if this is possible but if there is a way to link the Roster Bios to any existing forum links. For example if i start a discussion about Sentreal it would appear as a link on his bio page. If anyone wanted to find out info about Sentreal, the would click on Roster, then his bio and all current links would be located there.
 
Just like to compliment those responsible for this fine site.
On some occasions it starts to resemble the Scout free board but generally very interesting and informative.
I would like to be able to identify the real insider info and posters without having to read every post.

1) Put the WEZ and CIS back together.

2) Unban TexCane so we can Neg him some more.

3) More LeGif recruiting % threads.

4) Remember to keep the site registered, so you don't lose the domain name.

It would be nice if mods required that we act like adults here and keep the profanity down to levels you would use around your children? A profane line under your name, or over-the-top name calling doesn't add to the discourse and may even discourage some visitors from becoming regulars. It also may negatively affect some parents who could view the comments as typical of UM fans.

Assuming we are mostly adults here I'm not telling people how to behave, just that mods could guide them to behave boorishly elsewhere (like WEZ). It amazes me that it appears there are female posters here.

There, I've said it, I expect it to be ignored. The "cool kids" will continue to act, well, like children and it is so hip to believe that simple manners are just so passé.


Edit, So far I like the site well enough that I've cancelled my long time Scout subscription. Mods are good and there are some very knowledgeable posters.

I use the roster on canessport during games simply because canessport's team roster has tabs that allow me to select alphabetical or numerical. Often times I need both. It would be nice to not have to visit an inferior Canes site just for basic information.

Hi guys,

I notice the site crashes a lot during periods of high-volume. What if we brought in someone that knew about the internet and computers that could oversee this kind of stuff and make sure the message board doesn't crash?

Not sure how you would address this, but I like to see a new thread started any time there is legitimate new information on a topic that has already been addressed. That way I don't always have to read through 20 pages of bull**** and name calling to find the news (particularly around signing day, etc..., when things get heated, or over a long period of time following one recruit).

There are some posters who prefer to just keep it to a single thread (totally understandable). Is there a way to tabulate the threads? If new news is merely placed in an edited original post, then I don't no were the discussion on that info starts.

A very nit-picky suggestion for an excellent site, but you asked.

1. Click on settings
2. From the drop down menu, select edit profile
3. Find the profanity filter and select turn on
4. Profit

@Andrew

1. Have access to your profile on the mobile site without having to switch to the full site to see it.

2. Ban spammers and trolls to TPP.

3. Get media credentials.

4. Allow BBCode/images/GIFs in sigs here and the wEz.

5. List all schtick accounts mods and admins have.

there are plenty of features that can make he site cool etc but PLEASE don't change the things that are working..

right now the forum posting, liking posts etc are working great. Seems like everyone is very used to it.


1 thing may need attention....

I know its a free country and people can post their opinions, but if recruits are reading some of these stuff, we need to make sure this board doesn't end up being a place where trolls form other schools can just pretend to be Cane fans and post crap about our recruits to mess with them.
 
Please fix the 'Remember' routine on the sign-in so we don't have to re-log on so often. It's there, but it no workee!
 
Maybe a forum with recruits pinned so we don't have to go digging for threads concerning them. When a new recruit with legit interest comes up a new thread is pinned and info is gathered there.
