What is it about Bama?

Alabama does not pay players. Only losers think that. Alabama offers good coaching and winning.

Real talk what is it? The state is boring. I know will say the bagmen and I believe people get paid. However, their guys are not the best in the league. What is it? Am I missing something?

They win and they put guys in the pros. That's all these kids care about these days. For many of them education is the last thing on their mind.

They do offer good coaching and winning but they also pay some players...I mean if you're denying that you're denying the obvious, many pictures and stories have been leaked.

Doesn't Satan own a Mercedes dealership there as well? Who cares about Bama! We need to get back and win, so tuscuntaloosa becomes irrelevant! Go Canes!

Winning thats it..alot of these kids grew up seing them chips...they gravitate towards that ish...we just need tobwin and see what happens in 5-6 years..

We need to get to playoffs and meet them on the field. They our players need to show that "you can come to The U or get beat by the players who do". We need the Cornhusker moment again, where we just take it to the kings and rip their hearts out. Mark needs to get us to that moment and then whatever players we have that day need to rise up and kick the crap out of those who left. Bama is big and slow, except for our kids, like the Cornhuskers of old. We need our old speed everywhere, aggressive defense playing in their backfield, and a QB to slice and dice them with a cold blooded heart. Football has gone back to pre-Cane days. We can beat Bama the same where we destroyed OU and NE back in the day. We have the Dline coach for it and that is where it starts.

Clearly all the top recruits don't care about how crappy the "state" is when they're winning championships. Tuscaloosa is trash, but the university is like a small town of its on. They have some of the best resources, facilities, along with some of the best gameday atmosphere.

At the end of the day, your players still suck ballz in the league.

I am Cane. My sweat, blood and pieces of my flesh are mixed with the soil at GT. Bama is doing their thing. Much respect to them. I am not a hater. Bama is coaching them up to play great at Bama. I agree...they do not typically perform on an elite/high level in the NFL. Yet, Canes do despite the lack of success at UM.

They are not paying players like people think. There are folks (Big10, Big12, ACC, PAC12) with resources that would make sure Bama was exposed.

All we need to do is win.

5-6 years my ***. MR does not have that long. He has 3 years, which is all he needs!

I graduated from the U. I'm from Biloxi, MS. I live here now. I laugh when posters call the southern states racist or backwards. That's just not accurate. When I attended Miami, we played in the Orange Bowl. What a great atmosphere/experience regardless of how many people attended the games. Fast forward to present day. I've been to quite a few games to sun life. It sucks. My wife graduated from Ole Miss. We got to a couple of games a year. The stadium is awesome, on campus and everyone tailgates in the grove. The women are beautiful. We've also been to Tuscaloosa. Tremendous stadium, always sold out. Great atmosphere. I can totally understand kids going there and hopping on the Saban train, Especially under Golden. I think kids after this year will start staying home. Give Richt a year and 10 wins. Then kids stay home. Also, with the money (duffle bags) I'm sure that takes place in some form or another. Just my two cents from a different perspective.

They really do suck lol with the exception of Cooper. Cold Beer, obviously they pay the players. Have you seen some of their cars? How esle does an 18 year old kid get such an expensive car, when i guarantee most grew up in poverty. Go back to your Bama boards

4 chips in 7 years. Next question....

Best pals with Mark Emmert. You know, the guy that never goes after SEC teams, but did his darned best to drag out the Miami fiasco. He did that to help other schools come down here and cherry pick. Sure, Golden was a slug, but the NCAA did all they could to keep that BS going as long as possible. Why? You know why. They didn't have to, as Golden wasn't going to win squat here. However, they didn't know that in 2011. All they knew was south Florida is a hotbed for talent, and casting a bad light on Miami helped steer kids away. By the time Golden was done here, the damage was done. Teams like Bama were able to take enough top talent to rise to the top. Now, Golden could have gotten all the top recruits and still lost, he was that bad, but Alabama wouldn't win titles without them.

They pay more than the other SEC schools.

Their "foundation" pays the most. The problem with the payments is that the recruits talk to each other and it causes some dissension. They cannot pay "Jeudy" bribes to everyone. It is a tenuous system, but is working for them well and has been for the past 8 years.
