Mario talks about recruits the way Butch use to. JJ said that Butch was the talent architect of his teams at UM and Dallas. I'm sure Mario learned what Butch was looking for in a recruit.

Nothing would have changed cause of Nevin Shapiro. We would still get our sanctions, possibly even worse, because the NCAA probably wont ***** it up as bad as they have back then.

Thing is...(Hypothetically) If Butch stays, that slimy POS Shapiro wouldn't have gotten close to Greentree..I wholeheartedly promise you that...

He wouldnt have stepped foot here. Butch would have needed to fight a little because Nevin would have thrown around his money anyway

I sat in the West Endzone and there were a lot of games he would come running into the locker room being booed. I hated when he would push those bangs out of his eyes in disgust after our 10th penalty. But what he did for UM will never be touched(I think Mario can revive this)again.

It’s not so much about what Butch couldn’t do..but where CFB was heading. Our problem wasn’t just about coaching. It was investments in the program..the evidence of why Butch would work is from the mid 90s…CFB was moving in a mu$ch different direction. Butch isn’t holding off the Meyer then Saban movement
