I expect some level of competency. At least mediocrity. I’m sure I’ll get face slap reactions because he was under recruited. But he’s a a full year in and has been reliable all year. To underperform the way he did today was disappointing.

I expect him to flash. OJ showed today that he is not the future and we need to recruit over him.

Agree it was disappointing, but to me it's more disappointing that a 5th year senior drops an interception or a 5th year senior fumbles for the 2nd consecutive game that not only stops a Miami drive but gave Syracuse 7 points

I’m with you. You can’t drop that pick there. Period. You get 1-2 opportunities in this defense to make a play and you drop it. Infuriating.

The fumble. To me just unlucky. But still disappointing.

But most disappointing? Mario evaled his way to such a horrid secondary that you and I are discussing single plays that held back the best offense in the country from getting to a 12 team playoff

That's fine, we should always stack talent, but to single out his performance is laughable. Porter sucked balls, Harris is PURE trash, Powell is slow AF and dropped an interception, and X's fumble was a back breaker. But you're right, OJ should have flashed when all these seniors and juniors sucked ***

Agree 100% it starts with Mario and the coaches...their job is to stack talent and they failed miserably with the DBs. Guess I'm a little defensive when we single out a true FR meanwhile Porters sucks balls, Harris is trash, Powell is slow AF and dropped an interception and our all ACC WR fumbles for the 2nd consecutive week in what could have been a 14-point swing (if we scored a TD on that possession)

Restrepo’s fumble changed the entire trajectory of the game. A devastating turn of events.

I suppose my only fair attempt at a response would be that we knew #2, #7, and #0 have sucked all year. So they performed as usual today, and unlike OJ, arent worthy of being singled out.

I’m only singling him out because I thought he underperformed. The others. They played to to their standard.

I don't want a single one of those players starting for us next year. I want an all new secondary from the portal / high school.
