You just dodged what I said. I never thought we would get Tyson and the only reason I thought we would get Surtain was because of how much he supposedly values “family.”

It had nothing to do with putting all my stock in what DSJ or anybody else was saying.

I’m the negative one however I disagree keeping nesta made this the best day in a long time . I thought he was gone gator fans said he told Chatfield he was flipping
 
Coming on the tail of a 3 game losing streak and ending the season ranked 13th we are right on schedule. Perhaps even ahead of schedule.

We we're kidding ourselves if we thought we would out recruit Bama or Georgia this year. We're definitely closing the gap on their asses though.
 
People need to re-evaluate what a good class and day is! We have a top ten class and picked up an elite dt and wr, not to mention a good athlete and the steal of the season on Miller. One or two players don’t make the team especially when they have not even touched the field. There are never guarantees that they turn out good or don’t get hurt. We are THE U SO BELIEVE IN THE GROUP THAT WE HAVE GOT!

Blah blah blah . same old whiners. We have a top 5 class people . Campbell was a UGA lean forever . Surtain and UM were rarely mentioned. We got the guys we thought we would and it equals a top 5 class. Some people man.

But Miami does NOT have a top 5 class! Miami has some really great guys and 2018 will be a CFP year, but the class is NOT top 5.

Campbell was always a lean anywhere else and Surtain...well, he only became “possible” to build the drama

Still a solid class but VERY disappointing finish and missing out on so much top talent from south florida always hurts. Hard to dismiss it despite a solid class.

Like others I'm sure deep down most knew they weren't coming but still hurts and still ****es me off. I hate those SEC schools so ******* much.

I fully expected them to sign elsewhere but I'm still ****ed off.

On to 2019.

We'll be feeling the impact of this for YEARS.

We had a chance today to be "back".... we failed.

We remain average.
 
Recruiting is definitely not for the weak hearted.

Disappointing day? Maybe.

Disappointing period? Fck no!

People forget the class that we already signed a few months ago.

fetal alcohol syndrome and inbreeding makes them say a lot of weird things.
 
Yes it's very disappointing we didn't get TC and has to be classified as a failure.
But ****....I can in all honesty **** all over the class we just signed like some you are doing.
It's the best class we have signed years IMO. Is it perfect no but it's got A LOT of elite in it.

They didnt Trust Rumphs coaching ability. They saw what he taught them in HS and realized they can get better at Bama/GA.

Someone who knew these kids made a comment a long time ago that they all wanted to star in their own right and not play together at the next level. When they all picked different schools that's all I could think about. Not wearing rose colored glasses cuz I would have thought nabbing one of the two corners would have been icing. But I am glad we got Nesta. He's the most important of the bunch. He's a dog and he will fight to bring in more players and to become the next Sapp. Something went down with Chatfield. Coaches didn't want him and/or he didn't want us. Glad we got the one we got. If Nesta flipped we would have some major issues.
