What’s your opinion on are Pass Rusher Situation?

Agreed but are you referring to this year's team or the teams moving forward?

We have premium guys. That’s the most important thing. Elite rushers are hard to find.

We should have more depth. I agree that 4 is a good number for this class. But overall, it is a blessing to have guys like Joe Jackson, Jon Garvin and Greg Rousseau on the roster.

Nothing to be concerned about we will always have impact players at the position... a couple freshmen will get a chance to rotate, Garvin, Rousseau, Patchan, and Joe Jackson is going to stay for his Senior year. If we have to go Juco or Grad Transfer the staff will figure that out.

i'd take a juco de in this cycle if i were them. The current de commits are developmental , high ceiling guys. Would like to play the early entries and shirt one or 2 if can.

You mean to tell me JJ Weaver isn’t a Juco kid?!? Bruh looks 32.

J/k

This is what I don’t get. The d line is paper thin and we’re still only targeting prospects that will need a year or 2 before they’re ready. All of our DE commits and targets are around 200lbs (Bogle, Harvey, Williams, Summerall. As far SDE, Munoz won’t be ready more than likely, as well as Ingram. You would think they would place an emphasis on going after some of the elite prospects that can play day 1 ( which Miami looks like it will need ). But what do I know 🤷🏾‍♂️

Harvey is 215 right now, Williams is 230-235.

And Rousseau was around 200 lbs this time last year so I'm not sure what your point is?

And you think think they aren't going after elite guys? Seriously? Must be that Bama education I guess

So you like 2018 depth???? DJax coming off an injury, Rousseau has been on campus 2 months and Patchan has not been healthy yet. Welp, at least you are optimistic.

**** I hope you are right, but to not be worried, that I can't get behind.

Patchan was healthy all of last year. And Rousseau has been on campus 6 months.

Then again, you dont care. Its pretty obvious from your post history you're a Gator troll. Enjoy sucking again this year

I think in general we need to go into the fall with more than 5 DEs. Last year we were fortunate in that we were mostly injury free save for DJax going down late. I love our stable of DEs this year but would obviously like a little more depth. As it is, I'll take my chances with this group. They should be fun to watch. Can't wait.

5 is enough most teams in the country don’t have the quality we have in our 5 guys at end

Ok fair enough. To be honest I really don't know what is considered optimum in terms of numbers at DE. I agree about the quality we have with our top 5.

I think they would use Mccray some at that spot befpre Joyner.
In your opinion, do you think McCray has any potential to contribute at that spot in a limited role? I would rather not have to find out but curious nonetheless.

Most smart coaches put the young d-ends in on passing situations, and use games like BETHUNE COOKMAN to let them get a taste of what it's like to go against the run, but always remember, most often than not, speed beats power, rosseau and garvin will be in position to draw penalties from o-linemen, now will they call it, that's a diiferent thing, see trent harris and joe jack against wisconsin. Remember, one way for refs to help keep Miami back is to not make calls. Coach richt had to go off like he did in that wisconsin game, to miss a call here and there is one thing, but to look the other way on that many not holding but yokes, the fix was in. It was the only way they could even out the playing field, other wise we dominate wisconsin.

Coach richt and company are coming for heads, he's back at the crib now, part of the perfect storm, people dont know, but coach richt is a goon. He still ****ed he didnt beat out jim kelly. When coach richt was in UGA, he had to try and muster up confidence in his teams, here that's automatic. Aint nothing change with how we think at the crib when it comes to football, we just needed to get rid of troll shalala redneck mindset, it's ridiculoys that this broad recorded a UM commercial talking about "we're recruiting a different kind of athlete to the University of Miami, yeah, the losing kind. She made sure to try not to recruit to many players from the City, she basically castrated the football program, she wanted no mo of this , but in comes a new goon in julio frenk, as i've stated in the past, you dont become the head of nothing in Mexico without having goon in you. For the City of Miami and The University of Miami, julio frenk is the perfect president at this time, right here right now. He was bout to tolerate tne last regime's non-sense, i knew they're end was coming after the nebraska game, julio basically couldnt understand why that game became that stressful! Great times are ahead, we just about already at that point where only the ref's will be able to opposing teams. They mess round and let coach richt get another gunslinger behind center, we already got the backs stacked, o-linemen on the way an developing, college football got bout 1 more year before this train starts to take off, the foundation is set. HARRIET TUBMAN CANE, i see you man, yes sir it's me mane man!

Dont know ....seen a clip from spring where he looked to be at a dend position but not sure if thats what they experimented with. HE'S LIKE 6'3 240+ and basically thats all he played in high school. May have ability to give you mop up duty there.

With the production that we lost off the DL I’m predicting a 9 win season. RJ, Ken, Chad, and Trent. I’m not sure if we have my playmakers at DT. We will see.

With the favorable schedule we have and us being the favorites to win every game on the schedule this year, you see a decline in our win total? So in other words you're a guy who's just willing to toot it up in the air because you have no faith you can resist the rape???

I almost forgot he had crazy sack stats in HS

Losing the Cali kid Johnson hurt the depth at DE, but that kid had no spine, probably better off that he left. The focus should be on Garvin and Rousseau's development. So IMO, all eyes should be on what Jess Simpson does with his group. If he can do what some say he can do the issue we have with depth will be less of a concern.
