We've lost a Matthew Thomas before

I hope all these local kids succeed whether here or somewhere else, but when they do what Thomas and Kirkland did, trashing Golden and this U on the way out.....the only thing I wish them is to impregnate some piece of Ark & Trailerhassee trash and be stuck with a future of losses on and off the field!

JUST LIKE THE ADVICE THE POOPS GAVE ALFRED B GOLDEN YOU CAN ONLY WORRY ABOUT THE GUYS HERE

YOU CANT WIN THEM ALL SO NO NEED TO WORRY ABOUT THE ONES THAT ARENT CANES

Good luck to him, but I hope he loses every game.

Also, stay away from the ProLaps machine in their weightroom. I hear Wilder Jr has the record on it.

According to millian miami coaches were assured Thomas and Bryant were going to be at miami till they flipped on NSD.

So sick of all the well wishers....**** that. That piece of **** better not ever throw up another 305. He's dead to me. Actually I take it back, I will actively root against him, I hope he tears every tendon/ligament in his knee/ankle and anything else that will ever keep him from suceeding in football. Other than that, good luck in life.

Btw, Marvin Jones was overrated as ****. We had two guys both better than him that didn't get as much pub in their college careers, Barrow and Smith.

Barrow got votes for the heisman..I think he came in 4th/5th...highest at the time for any defender

So either
A. Millian's full if ****
B. Ice lied to Al to sabotage
C. the kids lied to Al to sabotage
All 3 seem possible

no way they flipped, they wouldn't have talked **** on the way out if they were really gonna come here

reason he stings as does keith in comprasion to bostwick is because they tried to clown us all the way through. They drew a line in the sand. FSU players rarely do crap in the nfl. I was not upset losing 6 because I
love Grace. However, we needed Bostwick in my opinion. Like I said, I know from kids that Muschamp pushes teh NCAA thing as hard as he can.

We didn't get Derrick Thomas out of South Miami. He played at Alabama in the mid-80s and then was the second best NFL LB of his era - only behind Lawrence Taylor.

This isn't the first time we've lost a superstar LB in our own back yard to FSU. In 1990 we had an All American LB coming out of Northwester High that chose to sign with Bobby Bowden's Seminoles. His name was Marvin Jones and he went on the be a 2 time consensus All American, Butkus and Lombardi award winner. As good as 6 is, i sincerely doubt he turns out to be THAT good. But, as big as his loss was for our recruiting class we still went on to have the best LB core in the nation, **** maybe ever, in Barrow, Armstead and Smith. The point is that yeah it sucks that this kid didn't want to be part of something special in his own backyard, but in the end its more his loss then ours, cause we're still gonna build something special without him over the next several years. We have a ton of talent in Perryman, Figueroa, Grace, Bond, Blue, EJ, GT or Kirby, and I'm confident this staff is going to develop this group into real modern day bermuda triangle when its all said and done.

The answer to a "Matthew Thomas" isn't another Matthew Thomas or a version of his substitute.

Too often, you see shoddy journalists and analysts look at QB vs QB when teams play each other. Or, one team's LBs vs another team's LBs. Fortunately, that's not how it's played on the field.

The way to neutralize a "Matthew Thomas" talent lies in our QB, TEs and offensive linemen. Will Coley establish an offensive system with a clear identity?

That's ******* horse****.

If that we're true, no way Skai Moore and Warren Williams get offers prior to NSD.

He's going to be THAT good.

After reading some of his quotes, he seems like a front runner, likes the "in-style" team. My question is: How the **** do you rep 305 in tallahase?

The :neonu: was built by dudes who wanted to put in work from the ground up. This 2013 class has got that inner drive--that thing that cannot be measured.

No matter how many stars he has, thomas is not built for this.

On what do you base your claim that Thomas does not have the "inner drive"? it reeks of sour grapes. The kid is a stud, and it would have been great to have him in the class. no need to try and make-up negative comments about him to try and feel better about losing him.

Marvin Jones was not at all overrated in college. He was an absolute beast -- a single-man wrecking crew at FSU. But he never beat us, which must still **** him off to this day.

Not worried about losing Thomas. The last time I felt a 5 star would be an ok player but not great was Nick O'Leary. Both times my concern was about their frames. O'Leary looked very stiff physically while Thomas looks like the type that could have problems putting on weight. We'll see if he can but I'm skeptical and wouldn't be surprised if he ends up hurt a lot in college.

I'm glad he Marvin didn't come here, cause Barrow might not have developed to have had the impact he's had here not only as a player but as a coach too
