This isn't the first time we've lost a superstar LB in our own back yard to FSU. In 1990 we had an All American LB coming out of Northwester High that chose to sign with Bobby Bowden's Seminoles. His name was Marvin Jones and he went on the be a 2 time consensus All American, Butkus and Lombardi award winner. As good as 6 is, i sincerely doubt he turns out to be THAT good. But, as big as his loss was for our recruiting class we still went on to have the best LB core in the nation, **** maybe ever, in Barrow, Armstead and Smith. The point is that yeah it sucks that this kid didn't want to be part of something special in his own backyard, but in the end its more his loss then ours, cause we're still gonna build something special without him over the next several years. We have a ton of talent in Perryman, Figueroa, Grace, Bond, Blue, EJ, GT or Kirby, and I'm confident this staff is going to develop this group into real modern day bermuda triangle when its all said and done.

Everyone also cried when Southridge's Lamont Green went to FSU. He had a pedestrian career there. We'll see how his career turns out but if Thomas is a good as people think he's a 3 and done kid anyway.

He's going to be THAT good.

After reading some of his quotes, he seems like a front runner, likes the "in-style" team. My question is: How the **** do you rep 305 in tallahase?

The :neonu: was built by dudes who wanted to put in work from the ground up. This 2013 class has got that inner drive--that thing that cannot be measured.

No matter how many stars he has, thomas is not built for this.

Thomas is in for a rude awakening if he's a front runner. The U is going to stomp FSU for the forseeable future.

Honestly seemed like he never wanted to be a CANE. Said USC was second. Wish him well except 1 game a year. We can't get them all. Sucks but that's reality.

probably 2 games a year, but I'm sure Gall will in enjoy smashing him in the ACC title games just as well

F that wish him well ****! He's the enemy and I hope I get to watch him fail.

I agree with this, I wish the kid no ill will except when we are whoopin that ***.

To me, the biggest question is the stability of the coaching staff at FSU, including Jimbo. One bad or mediocre year and he could be gone. Already rumors of him and AD not getting along. They have 6 new unknown coaches and a history of underachieving. Apparently, he's OK with this or chose to ignore it...

That said, I understand him wanting to get out of town, but I do like UM roster against FSU...

6 simply did not want to stay home. I dont like it but i respect that and fsu was close enough for him to see his family. It is what it is. I think he handled his recruitment well and I hate the fact that he went to our rival. Having said that compare that to bryant the clown, and Kirkland's fiasco...

He's every bit as good as Jones...Jones had a great FSU career...

but he also went 0-3 against Miami.

**** that wish him well ****. Dude openly talked **** about our head coach. Payback will be a *****.

Jimbo is 31-10 since taking over. 3 losses a year while recruiting against your main instate rival who has had to deal with the possibility of harsh sanctions for 2 years in unacceptable.

FSU is in for a rough year. Have to break in a new QB with a decimated OL.

The wheels could fall off for Jimbo.

I'll save my well wishes for guys who didn't repeat their HS coach's lies and trash/punk our program on national TV.

Best wishes to Bostwick

Not to say 6 wasn't a loss but when discussing what is the worth of a multi stared player consider this, how many 4-5 star players have a 4-5 star work ethic or attitude? Especially from So Fla? Time will tell who pans out and who doesn't...would you have believed me in 2008 if I said Russell Wilson would be in the Pro Bowl his rookie season and Marve and J12 would be ??????

Have faith in the staff and process

Why the well wishes for Bostwick? F Bostwick and the Gators too. Hope he fails.

Not only does he go to our direct competitor, but by him playing games with us, we weren't able to fill his roster spot. He should leave now and not come back.

So sick of all the well wishers....**** that. That piece of **** better not ever throw up another 305. He's dead to me. Actually I take it back, I will actively root against him, I hope he tears every tendon/ligament in his knee/ankle and anything else that will ever keep him from suceeding in football. Other than that, good luck in life.

Btw, Marvin Jones was overrated as ****. We had two guys both better than him that didn't get as much pub in their college careers, Barrow and Smith.
