Does anyone know what is going on with Westley Neal, he is crystal ball predicted to us? Do we have a chance of signing him in February?
bro..you need to address the sources with a question like thisDoes anyone know what is going on with Westley Neal, he is crystal ball predicted to us? Do we have a chance of signing him in February?

Unless he has a growth spurt, probably not because unfortunately he is built like a T-Rex. Neals problem is he has a short wing span, which means he will have a very hard time against FBS P5 olinemen getting into his body and trying to fight them off.
The kid wants to be a Cane badly, but that dream maybe just out of reach for him. Clyde Pinder fell into the same boat but UNC took a chance on him.
If Neal manages to sign with Miami he will need to work on his fighting hands day an night to get them lightening quick as a reflex. An move his point of hand contact to the opponents mid forearm rather than chest or shoulder. I would suggest he takes up martial arts hand fighting.
Clemson's NT Tyler Davis is built similarly to Neal but has violent fast hands.

I agree. He has offers from Michigan, FSU, Kansas State, Louisville. Sign this guy if he academically qualifies, we have plenty of room in this years class.I'd take him regardless of Moise. Need more Dade flavor, and Gulliver some **** coming thru the pipeline.
Never enough DT. Just take him, we have 3 Dade kids in what was a deep dade class and a class where we had room (maybe not a ton of 4 or high 4* but there were a lot of players, and we should be taking the backup plans from potential feeders, just like we should have taken Machado...At the same time Machado had the option to wait, but just couldn't miss out on Tulane)
OLI don’t think he is a take for Miami whether Moise signs or not unfortunately. The kid’s shortcomings are listed above and I’m sure that’s the holdup. By all indications the kid loves Miami and is a hard working, strong athlete. The program needs more like him.
I like taking the kid because the team has 7-9 initial counters left for this class. This program will almost definitely have room in 2021 too. Today they need to get a grad transfer kicker, likely 2 OL, likely 2 more CBs, and who knows what else.
Today this program should be taking the Gabe Taylors, Westley Neals. The class has 18 good signees with one more good one to come (Moise) - I’d rather they roll with some local athletic talent with physical limitations with a small amount of transfers versus taking another 7-9 transfers (again).

Like who the **** advised the kid to take that Tulane offer like he couldn't wait till nsd.

You can play a 1-tech with short arms.
1 tech are usually space eaters. They don’t need long arms as much as a 3 tech.Especially as a 1 tech you need long arms to disengage from blocks.
