We can outscoure Losers. What I think most fans are concerned about is how bad our defense will once again look. There is nothing to give hope that the D will even slow Losers down. On the other hand, if Morris can play one of his good games, Stacy Coley will embarrass Loser badly. Hurns is playing for a higher draft round. Those two might put up sick numbers in this game. Plus, our So Fl kids might just decide to show those locals who went north that birds cannot stand up to THE U. Let's hope we getting into shoot offense from the get go, cause Al's D just doesn't slow anyone down and that isn't changing in one month.

We will win! Hopefully Dorsett will be able to play a larger role on the offense. I'm confident our guys can play their best game. And Louisville is definitely not unstoppable!!!

Our defense is going to look terrible and Teddy Bridgewater is going to shred us. That's not an issue. Our defense always looks terrible. I see this as a benefit. Hear me out.

As you all know, the starting QB for whichever team we play always has a Heisman-esque performance. It doesn't matter how good or how bad that QB is. They're going to throw for 500 yards and 4 TDs and run for 50+ and probably another score. The point is, it doesn't matter who the QB is.

The fact that Teddy Bridgewater is really good and is gonna go for 500/4, but anyone can easily go for 500/4 against us, negates the fact that Teddy Bridgewater is really good.

Everyone understand?

My prediction: Teddy Bridgewater puts up Heisman numbers, but a healthy Stephen Morris plays as good as we thought he'd play all year and earns his future paycheck. Stacy Coley goes ham. Canes win in a shootout. :neonu:

Our defense aint that good, but the guys will be amped for this game.

So they couldn't get up for the two Coastal Title games they lost vs VT and Duke, but this will be the game they really get fired up for?

Bridgewater is going to devastate this program.

He's not going to do anything Jameis Winston didn't.

hes not dumping off to freeman with a bunch of first round NFL lineman caravaning down field.. winston didnt do much to beat UM, and Louisville aint holding Miami to 14

I agree. But I think Winston > Bridgewater, and the point was that our secondary isn't our weak link on D.

Nothing would make me happier than absolutely curb-stomping Louisville. Those fake ***, Miami-wannabes.

However, I have zero faith in D'ohno to draw up a good defensive gameplan against a team that can both run and pass the ball. Bridgewater will shred our defense.

I am, however, confident our offense can do the same to their defense. I just don't think this'll be the blowout it would be with a better DC.

Canes still get the W.

It's a given that they'll light up our defense so I am interested to see how our offense performs against their D. They haven't faced anyone really but they did what they were supposed to do (ranked top 5 statistically). Strong is a very good defensive coach as well.

What's actually amazing is the fact that Louisville hasn't managed to put up more than 35 pts against any BCS opponent.

How is that possible?

I guess there's a first for everything. Our D won't disappoint I'm sure

That's because he hasn't played against a D'Onofrio none-defense.

While other schools are bathing their players in deer antler spray we have to settle for this *****

I would love nothing more than to load up the box with 8 defenders and play man to man on the outside. Make TB beat us. Other than Devante Parker they have nothing scary on the outside.

The problem is we'd never do something like that because D'ohno is coaching defense like he's still playing with Temple players.

We need to crack that ************ Teddy Bridgewater's neck.

No lie.

To me, he represents every kid who leaves to rep the 305 for some other school. **** traitor

I agree. I've seen them play in person. (Was at the UCF game) They are very erratic. One series they look all world, the next series they are awful. They make a lot of mental errors. Louisville can not play a complete game. Haven't seen it yet.

So what you're telling me is that they'll look all world every single drive against our "defense"

Louisville scored 20 points against a Houston defense that is statistically ranked lower than ours, so for those posters fretting that Teddy will break records against us, you will be disappointed.

Dude you sound like an idiot.. regardless of how badly you want to hyperbolize the matchuo as being bad for UM, Miami as a TEAM will compete and very possibly win this game with all their limitations, they also have some good qualities.. get off your soapbox and come back down to earth..

UL has a legit D. Granted they haven't seen the speed we have, but our D isn't stopping their O. If SM has a bad game, this game will be over early.

Legit D? the best offense they've played this year has been UCF. I'm sorry I'm not sold on their defense.

I don't know why people think this is a david vs goliath battle. We already played the best offense (and the best team) in the nation (FSU) and we were at least in it until the third quarter.

Louisville is not as magnificent as some fans on this board want them to be. Everyone is too busy hoping to see us fail to realize it
