Wells, Gadbois, Ivery & Isadora

What has anyone seen to make them think he won't?

I know. A kid redshirts like all OL should and all of sudden he may not be that good LOL Comical.

Not as comical as people who have never even seen him play yet they're "expecting big things" from him.

I've seen plenty of Isadora. Three years of high school to be exact.

They're actually equally comical because they're opinions based on little to no evidence.

My opinion is based on a ton of "evidence" though. I'm not basing my opinion off his offer list or his stature. Shoot, hopefully I'm wrong and the light turns on for him at Miami.

I saw Isadora play quite a few times in HS and every time he was mauling people. Im no O line expert but he looked big and agile for his size and played pretty hard.

Neither is Wildcat.

jk. That's not really the only sign. I seen a lot of this kid while he was in high school. Never was really that good in my opinion. Not much of a mauler. Kinda surprised we offered to be honest.

Well first of all that's sonny not Danny. Secondly Wisconsin offered. So did Bama. The kid can play, not sure what you saw in high school but I saw an athletic kid who plays physical and has good feet in pass pro.

I know. I know. I know. He's a stud.

Glad you, Kehoe, Stoutland and Bob Bostad are all on the same page now. He's no Jared Martin that's for sure..

He mauled not a single person when I saw him play. Also didn't maul anybody in any tape I watched either. The one time I seen him against other D-1 athletes he looked pedestrian.

LOL. How would you know?

If you're referencing my comment of "expecting big things," it's based on what I've seen and what has been seen by others in practices.

It was directed at Wildcat. I'm actually biased toward baseless pro-Cane comments, so I have no issue with you expecting big things from Isidora.

I was directing my comment at Wildcat also, but was too lazy to cut out your message.

I dont think you were watching Isadora. You must have gotten his # confused with someone else.

I've been coaching high school football in Broward for the last 5 years. I have tons of tape on Isidora. I know exactly who he is and what he did in high school. He played in the wing-T. He spent 3 straight years down-blocking on Buck Sweeps.

If I compared him in high school to Feliciano or Linder in high school it's night and day.

LoL okay guy:

Wait a second, so let's get this on record. Isidora is being written off before his RS Fr year? The guy can do next to nothing this year and it still wouldn't mean anything because he has 3 legitimate Guards in front of him.

So he was pedestrian to you and didn't come close to mongo and Linder yet his offers were more comparable to Linder than they were to Mongo. I'll take the recruiters word over yours. You guys should help your kids get recruited a little bit better.

Yes, he down blocked 3 technique's in the wing-t. Why is that a negative to his game?

It's not a knock one his game but it is a knock on offensives. Kill the wing t. (I kid. I kid.)...kinda

None of these guys have played, so I am confused by the hard line stance taken by many.

He may or may not turn out to be great, but based on what I've seen and those who have watched him (at UM) closely have seen, he has real promise down the line. My hardest "stance" is that writing him off this early is over the top.

Mongo had more offers than Isidora. Wisconsin, Tennessee, FSU, Miami, USF, Wake, WVU, etc etc etc.

I've seen three years of both kids and it's not even close.

LOL @ help our kids get recruited. We personally got Mongo his Miami offer. SMH

It's really not that big of a deal. We're just shootin' the **** about Miami's players. I don't know why people get so defensive over some players they don't even know. Not all of us are super fans and think that every kid on Miami's squad is a stud. It's just my opinion. He never impressed me. He could be a stud 2 years from now and I'll look like a fool. Hope so.

Some of you people are so sensitive. Geez.

Gadbois preped for a year so physically he should be closer to being ready. We got a great line this year and I can't wait to see how these guys perform during spring.

I remember watching Belen take Central to four overtimes just because the Central kids couldn't find the ball. Belen was running this all day:

It was funny, after the game the Central moms were talking **** to the Belen fans saying "We figured that bull**** out, we're gonna whoop your *** next game." Sure enough, that's exactly what happened.

Now compare that to this...

Now I'm not trying to make this a Feliciano vs. Isidora debate but I'm using Feliciano's film as an example of what I think a major D-1 O-lineman should do in high school. I believe a guy who's destined for big things at the D-1 level will make high school kids look like rag dolls. (like you see on Feliciano's tape)
Not coincidentally, he does the same thing on the college level. You just don't see that in Isidora's tape. He doesn't abuse people quite the same way.

Just my opinion. I'm not genius and I can't tell the future.
