What are the reports from the first week. This is our future OL. I DO realize it usually takes two (2) seasons for an OLman to develop, but what is the early prognosis? Looks like 2 or 3 of 'em are gonna have to be in the two deep and get meaningful burn.

1st Ivery is a DT unless I missed a position change. 2nd I don't think anyone expects Wells to ever start.

Isadora has always gotten good reviews from everything I've seen. Mixed on Gadbois. All are still very young.

Wells, Gadbois are just fillers. Isadora will an all time great OL here. Ivery is a JAG on the DL so far, but has a lot of time to improve

Good thread. But, I don't see those guys as our future OL.

Isadora should step up this year. I have high hopes for him and I think he'll be an excellent swing guard this year and then step in for Linder next year.

*Edit: Diego correctly pointed out Wheeler as our 3rd guard this year. I forgot him.

Gadbois will have to fight it out with Sonny for swing tackle in '14, but he's going to fight with some talented guys and may fall off completely. Wells and Knighton will have to fight it out for swing guard in 2014.

We missed on one OL this year - specifically someone who'll compete for the 3rd guard position in 2014. Outside of that, we've done well in this area.

2013

Flowers/Bunche
Linder/Isadora
Mcdermott/Wheeler/Gall
Feliciano/Wheeler
Seantrel/Sonny

2014

Flowers/Mcdermott
Isadora/Wells
Mcdermott/Gall
Feliciano/Knighton
Bunche/Sonny

Lu, I think Wheeler will be our 3rd OG and will also back up at C. He did a lot of that late in the season last year.

Just totally forgot him. Had a feeling I was missing someone. He's solid, too. Isadora will see action this year, though. Guy can move and, based on what I'm expecting of Coley's offense, that will be a differentiator.

Wasn't Knighton moved to center, meaning Gall would come in as a guard?

Wow. Surprised at so many guys willing to just throw Gadbois to the wolves! You guys got "inside" info that I don't know about? Isnt he a redshirt freshmen? But you are willing to say Isadora will be an all time great? Did I miss something?

Anyway, I like Ivery and Moore. If they can take one or two steps this year I think they could be poised for big Junior years in 2015. But they have to take a step forward like Olsen Pierre did at the end of last year. We need some glimmer of hope at DT!

OL I don't really know about. Who really knows? All we have seen the past few years are the 6 guys we got now. Everyone is has just been scout teaming it..We HOPE these guys turn out to be something in about 2 years. For now we can assume that Flowers/Feliciano/Bunche/Shane will be a nice returning unit to work with when Seantrel and Linder leave.

You missed nothing. Anyone talking with any sort of specificity on a lineman who hasn't even played yet is talking straight from the ****. Total guesswork. Way too early to formulate any real legit opinions on those guys.

What has anybody seen from Isadora to make them think he'll be great here?

What has anyone seen to make them think he won't?

jk. That's not really the only sign. I seen a lot of this kid while he was in high school. Never was really that good in my opinion. Not much of a mauler. Kinda surprised we offered to be honest.
