Yes its been under development for quite some time now. I used to work for Wellington over the past 3 years, from Dec. 2020 to May 24. It’s supposed to be built on the site of the old Boys and Girls club on South Shore blvd. They were working through a-lot of red tape during my time there. The residents near by were against it; and have been trying to stop it this whole time. Wellington is probably the most corrupt city in Palm Beach county, so **** them.

There is 0% chance anybody would ever building anything like this in Belle Glade. There is a freaking bowling alley/grocery store in Belle Glade.

I work out in Wellington, the horse community has all the power. Also Bill Gates giant estate is next to that property, doubt it we be constructed there.

not sure, but Bostic Steel Erectors off of the Palmetto Highway apparently is providing funding.

Population spreading out west. 15 yrs ago who thought Loxahatchee would be popular. We’re past that now.land is plentiful and relatively cheap compared to Wellington. May not be Wellington but west. Wellington is the hook.Future considerations this could work.

I’ve been in Delray my whole life. Just started a family and it’s insane trying to buy a house here. Can’t get a solid single family home under 700k. We are moving out to Loxahatchee/new city called Westlake in the next year. Their building up a ton out there

Can’t figure out if I want to go west or north. Quickly outgrowing my Palm Springs home. Yard is huge and on canal but space is maxed out with second kid on the way.

I really liked Arden and Westlake. All new builds. And they’re building the area up. They are building a city place in the next 1-2 years. I have thought north and heard good things about vero or Port St. Lucie. But I’d be going out there with the family alone. Think it’s west for me.

I rest my case,.. before you move , if you don’t mind my imput, tha land out west was farm land. And, farmers used chemicals and sometimes leased land for companies to dump waste. The corporation building on that land will say they did a proper search, I would need to see it. This country is littered with communities built on dumping sites. Sofla. Is on that list. Best of luck with your move. I completely understand the need to go to what’s affordable, my son faces the same prospect.
