I am fully expecting Griffin to go to either prep or JUCO.

And IMO he will be very hard for the Canes to land the second time around when teams like Texas, Texas A&M, Alabama etc... start offering him and recruiting him hard now that the whole qualifying issue is over.

For some reason, and I hate to say it, but I feel that we will never see this kid in Orange and Green

If he does take online classes to try and improve his GPA then all SEC schools are out. So that's good.

I'm not so sure of that i thought the SEC didn't except Math courses online? I know a couple recruits took online courses and still got into SEC schools.

Now that you mention it, I think they don't except online classes if they're core courses.

Thank God he's coming out this year and not in 2016 when the academic requirements change.
I hope ever high school freshmen knows that on now on their core course grades are locked in with no retake possible.
The new requirements don't seem that stringent but with athletes who concentrate mainly on athletics the new academic requirements will prove difficult.

The one advantage we might have is better basketball that many of the other football powers don't have.

Yes, we do. It's a tedious process that takes a ton of documentation. Usually only a handful of students university-wide get admitted under this provision each year.
