Not what i would have done. It’ll be a target point if they lose the game. If they win the game, it’ll be forgotten and he will have completed a great turnaround season.

I’m more troubled as to why the media has anointed Hunter and Jeanty the Heisman pair of finalists and dropped Ward from discussion.

Let me make sure I have this right, just because he’s had a good season as a coach, I have to now like him? Someone that I have not been a fan of for 30 years, even if I respect his abilities..

And if I don’t I have some fake *** weird disease, reminiscent of a whole other thing that is often said

No, you don't have to like him. You could just ignore him and hope he stays out of Florida.

There's not a single thread on page one about Sanders or Colorado. The only reason he is being mentioned now is because his game is on. He's not in a conference championship game and is beating a team that's on an 8-game losing streak. Yawn.

If anything, the anger comes from those of you who wish we talked about him more.

Bragadacious, in-your-face, undeniably hard working, flare, encourages accountability, undeniable success (at least so far).

These are the reasons I grew up a UM footbal fanl. Find similar characteristics in Deion as coach.

Never met him personally, but from outside looking in hard to not root for his success given those facts. If you've met him personally and had diff experiences can't speak on that.

There’s many games on every week and there’s no discussion of any of the HCs like Deion, with the exception of Prison Mike and Sling Blade Billy - so FSU and UiF, who are like our biggest rivals. Colorado has nothing to do with UM. It’s undeniable that Deion brings out the haters like no other HC not FSU or Ugator.

I know someone on here who is very knowledgeable and who has met him on more than one occasion and is familiar with his coaching and says he’s a great man, great coach, so I’ll accept that. And I didn’t care for the way he handled the Pope thing but that was one instance years ago now.

I do think it would be fun to see Colorado make it into CFP. Much moreso than Az St or Boise or even Indiana.

They might up flipping coins to decide who gets into the championship game a la Friday Night Lights

Does he not? That’s not a backtrack, that’s a full throttle assertion. Norvell and Billy are FSU and UF. Why is the colorado coach on that level of hate here, actually more hated??

If he played better against GT he might be there. He has Heisman-like quarters, but makes many questionable decisions
