The defence was really good last year and really bad this year.

Is it literally because we lost two NFL Safeties and replaced them with two G5 Safeties? 'Cos across the board the talent is higher, yet they're unable to execute simple plays.

It's really, really baffling to watch.

90% of the people on this board don't watch any other college games. Ever. They see some Ohio State highlights and think we would lose to them by 70.

I appreciate that every week the board is full of opinions about what’s wrong

But I’m with you I’ve given up. I usually spend a lot of our games on defense wandering around the house and hoping to hear the best because it’s painful to watch

I have no explanation

You can go back before the season and I was talking about the holes in OSU in the trenches and all I kept getting in return is that they’re elite, Day is elite, their recruiting etc

They’re a really good team of course but everyone is vulnerable

Their DC has been on a hate list Guidry level with their fans

Every game. Even this Clemson game. They go up 7-0 then give up 70 yards on two plays to Pitt. All of a sudden it's tied. Every fanbase freaks out and think they should blow every team out

Every Sunday I do the math in my head and the scenarios and then I end up with:

“We have Cam Ward and they don’t”

This is me I'm normally doing things with the family so I watch on my phone and turn it off when we are on defense and hope when it's back on we didn't give up another TD.
