What about it? Most fans here think SMU will drop 50+ on UM if/when we play. Not being mopes, just a clear eyed view of the defense .

Pitt beat Cal by 2. We beat them by 1. Pitt also held Cal to 15 points. Mendoza looked like a Heisman QB against us and they had 38 pts. Pitt lost to UVA by 4. If VT call goes the other way against us, we lose to them by 3.

both UM and Pitt have some coaching issues. Big difference in our most recent games is Clemsons D is still good and Pitt had a backup QB. GTs D is bad and we had Cam at QB.

Honestly, how much flak do you think Cristobal would have received if Williams had started against GT due to Ward being hurt and game ends the same way? My guess is very little.

SMU is the class of the ACC. Remarkable job by Lashlee. Our talent level is about even but their coaches are far superior to ours. Still a good year for us and would be happy with a 10-3 or 11-2 year. Need more defensive talent and a new defensive coordinator
