Week 12 college football thoughts...

@k9cane great write up. Could not have said it better. It’s all on Miami. We can say the Top 12 is biased but it’s up to Miami win all 3 games.

I stated prior to the GAtech game that Miami had 2 paths to the tournament:

- go unbeaten in the regular season

- or if you don't, win the ACC title game

The loss last week took away one of the options. The reality is that the ACC teams don't get mulligans like those in the SEC and Big10

Brohm overrated. Ask Louisville fans about him and they say the same stuff we say about Mario. His time management stinks. This season has been a disappointment for the Cards as Miami and SMU jumped over them in the ACC.

The Cards might finish at 7-5

Whew that's another one. His own fans were booing at him for all the bad coaching in that Clemson game. That goal line stance was so bad
I don’t want to hear anything about them having a backup qb that was a straight choke job.

Also so very poorly coached games by him in uva, smu and cal. I feel like our fans lose perspective on some of the other acc coaches they put on a pedestal.

100 percent agree, last year they did that with Norvell and we know how that went lol

Came ward can throw for 1200 yards and 10 tuddies in the next 3 games.
But if we drop to smu in charlotte by even 1 point, they’re not putting us in the playoffs.

The two teams that have most benefited from the demise of the Pac12 are Colorado and Washington State. Colorado got the big 12 cakewalk and Wazzu essentially got a MWC schedule. The Buffalos played 5 ranked teams last year and lost all five. They’ve played one this year (a loss to Kansas State)

WSU gets to trade their P4 schedule for Fresno, Hawaii, San Jose, San Diego State, Utah State, New Mexico and Wyoming. That’s like Miami leaving the ACC and getting an CUSA schedule

Unfortunately, this is the reality. If we finish the regular season 11 - 1 and make the ACC, it should be considered a successful season, but losing to SMU (and failing to make the CFP) will be a bitter pill to swallow.

Preseason: Our schedule is cheeks and the ACC blows as a conference, but it is funny FSU got left out in 2023-2024

Now: Committee is incredibly biased, everyone hates us, I can't believe the ACC is not getting more teams in the playoffs

**** the ACC. Just win.
