We will finally get to see...

This game is the biggest litmus for Golden thus far. Giving him one last chance to prove that he is a legit coach and can prepare a team well.

Hyperbole much?

No. This is it. An entire month to prepare for this game. In bowl games when teams have this long to analyze and diagnose the opponent's strengths and weaknesses you really find out who the legit coaches are. If we don't come into this game well-coached and well-prepared then that will tell me all I need to know about Golden.

According to your logic Jimmy Johnson sucked.

Don't be a ****head

he's right. according to your statement jimmy johnson should of been fired after his 3rd horrendous bowl choke job.

Looks like you've cornered the market on that!

Just how well this staff can prepare a team for a bowl game.

We've all made plenty of comparisons between Al and Joe Paterno. Well if there is one thing that kept JoePa on the map it was his ability to prepare his teams for great bowl game matchups. That was the crux of Paterno's greatness. Run thru a mediocre schedule then out prepare a team for a one-game tournament. Well we will finally get to see coach Golden and staff and how they prepare for a bowl game.

To me, this is a big deal. I want to see what wrinkles they throw in, what blitz packages they put in and how SPECIFICALLY they plan to deal with Teddy Bridgewater.

SOrry to say SFBAY your setting yourself up for a letdown

Great, more time to figure out news ways to lineup Shayon twenty yards away from the OL lined up on their best WR, and how to have the LBs play 8 yards off of the LOS on the goal line and then drop out of the end zone into coverage on the snap with their backs turned. I'm so excited.

You know you can actually chose to NOT follow the football program thus
saving the rest of us from your whiney bytchness.

Again, its not so much a let down as it is another key evaluation metric for coach Golden and his staff. There is simply no reason that our offense and defense cant build in some new plays. If we have four weeks of practice and only come out with one new trick play on offense, it will tell us something significant about Al Golden's ability to prepare for a bowl game.

So now we measure a coach based on how many new trick plays he uses in a bowl game? Just when you thought we had hit rock bottom as a fan base.........

Yeah that's what he said... what a ****head. The bigger issue with our fan base is morons like yourself that can't read and really have no ******* clue what the U was built on.

Are you really trying to say that bowl game preparation is not a valid metric for evaluating a head coach? That IS the crux of my thread, not specifically a trick play or two. So, in an effort to keep me from ridding our fanbase of you, please address the topic, if you have the capacity.

I love how you only focus on "trick play" out of that post..

Whattaaa ******

It's exactly what he said: "If we have four weeks of practice and only come out with one new trick play on offense, it will tell us something significant about Al Golden's ability to prepare for a bowl game. "

How are you confused about this?

Sure, it's something to look at. But when you thought of bowl game preparation, the one thing that stuck out to you was "how many trick plays will we run?"

I can just see you and your bros sitting in an apartment counting how many new trick plays you see. SMH.

Uh, it wasn't a very long post, and the only specific thing he mentioned about bowl preparation was trick plays. Am I supposed to respond to things he didn't write?
