The kid was alright... Played good against GT but pretty much disappeared afterwards... We crowned him prematurely... The kid had a lot flaws on the field as well... I don't think he would have made much of a difference if he played this year... I remember he quit last year before the season started as well...

This is the **** im talking about! How can you honestly convince yourself that EJ wouldnt have made a difference on the field this year with #31, #59, and #34 getting the majority of the snaps? This is straight up "PG -13" brah" . EJ was a ******* R-Fr for crying out loud.. Granted, he didn't have Ray Lewis highlights and it became apparent that he had missing screws (off the field issues etc), but he sure played with heart ,cojones and most importantly -with intensity. You cant deny that my man!! We need these type of players. I remember when Vilma was backing up Dan Morgan, and you can just tell he was going to be a good one.. By his Soph year, Vilma was blowing up cornhuskers players. We all knew that EJ was a wreck but he was showing flashes of brilliance at a young age .. Again, my point is to illustrate how ****** our upperclassmen- LB's were and also to question Golden & Dorito for playing these non-Div 1 players. In summary, The " Lord's punishment to those who commit sins " will be missed.

He played great for 1 game... All of your points are from 1 game and maybe 1 play... I thought he hit hard... That was an awesome hard hit on the qb against GT on 4th down but he didn't do much after that game... The kid wasn't focus... He went superstar after one game and our fans hyping him up didn't help? What did he do after GT? Talking about playing hard... Really? The kid gave us his all for 1 game... 1 game and you're acting as if he left everything on the field... He played 1 good game... That's not consistent enough to say he would have helped... As much heat as Gaines take he is at least consistent...

Hope he would get his act together and Golden would let him come back next year

sigh ... /back to reality.

4th in tackles(59), 1st in TFL(7.5), 1 sack, 1 INT, 2 pass break-ups, 3 FF's as a redshirt freshman. You both are drunk
