We just lost a game

You're oversimplifying my response. We haven't been able to play much complimentary football all year. When by some miracle our defense gets off the field, our offense can't capitalize. We ran the ball like **** vs VT and before, but now when we've figured it out, the play calling lacks. We've been abysmal on offense all year in the 2nd qtr.

The signs have been there all year to my original point. To your point, yes, it all just fell apart at the same time this game.

We have weaknesses on O and D and they were schematically and physically taken advantage of today.

We just lost to a mid ACC team. We have multiple wins where the narrative (fair or not) is we should have lost to other mid teams. We will be punished come Tuesday and deservedly so. We have to stomp a mud hole into wake and Syracuse and hope for chaos if we can’t get into the ACC championship game. Committee made it clear what they think of the ACC by leaving 1 loss SMU out of the top 12.

1 loss SMU with the only loss being a top 10 team was at 13.. Ya Miami will be lucky to be 15

Those wins we got away with will be viewed as losses on Tuesday.

And if we don’t make the playoffs, Cam (and probably several other important players) are sitting out the bowl. Real potential for the season to end on a whimper.

We were beat presnap 99% of the time on D. That said, it’s hard to win. Win out and we are in the playoffs. Never been there before. Give me a home playoff game so I can fly down from Michigan and meet the legend @Cribby !

They aren’t going to reject an 11-1 Miami team from a 12 team playoff.

Cam has been awesome but he needs to just hit the crosser or check down to the back and take the 5-10 yards instead of going for the shot play.

We’re in third and long way too much. That stuff kills drives and eventually will bite you in the rear end

The bold is true, and is the reason why games have been so tight well into the 3rd quarter (and sometimes beyond). We've (mostly) been unable to click on both sides simultaneously.

The second half vs duke off the turnovers were really the only time. Even though they couldn't do it in the first half of that game lol
