We have a problem. Who will be our future Left Tackle.

Of current commits, Donaldson is likely the LT. Hillery after redshirting and year playing backup. Then there's Tre Johnson by 2019. We know Dykstra a guard and Scaife a center. The tackle from DeMatha would be an excellent, but I get the notion he and McFarland staying home.

Couldn't stand all the positivity and momentum.

Had to start a mope thread.

After watching more of Donaldson yeah I'm good with him at Lt. Big as **** and moves very well I can see him definitely working maybe not as a freshman but in the future

As a JR in high school, Donaldson is further along as an OT than Ereck Flowers. Flowers has insane strength though so it's hard to make that comparison, but if Ereck can do it, I don't think we will have a problem with molding Donaldson the same way (breaking him in at RT, then starting him at LT)

I believe Donaldson can be the answer also. The kid's game reminds me of Trent Williams so much. He's not a 6'7",6'8" guy with pterodactyl wingspan, but he has adequate height & length, he's an ornery SOB and is a SUPREME athlete. Kinda like, well, Trent Williams. I think if he puts in the work, he can wind up producing like him on Saturdays & Sundays.

Exact comparison I have for him. Same kind of body, attitude and athletic ability.

Some of the stuff some of peopel believe . Leatherman is in Bama land and he committed to Bama . What makes you believe we will flip him ? I hope we do but don't like the chances .

Signed, sealed and paid... move on.

I think Donaldson can be the guy at LT, it's just a matter of will he have to be? Btw Cordy Glenn has been my comparison for him as well.

I see Tre Johnson eventually replacing Darling out there, but I wouldn't be surprised to see ND at LT and Johnson at RT competing w Hillery. I think Milo will ultimately play G. Tyree St. Louis I see either starting at RG next year or being a bridge at T for a year or two for younger guys. Dykstra definitely a G.

I think collegiately Donaldson can be a dominant LT in time w proper development, primarily reshaping his body, but that doesn't mean he can do it in the NFL either. I think best case he can do it in the league too, but personally I see him playing LT or RT for us and then RT in the NFL.
