Just think about this, we went from being led by 'Weekend at Bernie's' to this...

Diaz just did the coaching version of the invasion of Normandy, with cases of Coors Light, Budweiser, Heineken and Miller Lite. He just turned that thing into a Miami event.

Manny Diaz, the coach some of us didnt want... but the one we all needed

#TNM
Hope he brought better beer though than that list.

When I saw Macho's post this morning, the first thing I thought of was Thornton Mellon (Rodney Dangerfield) in the movie Back to School - just taking over by any means at his disposal, running shît how he wants and doesn't give a fûck who doesn't like it..

Im in the “just ******* prove it on the field” camp; especially after the last 15 years or so of incompetence.

But this is incredible. This is some advanced mental warfare technique you’d read about Roman troops doing the night before a battle. Kind of reminds me of an NWO stunt out of the WWF back in its prime.

Until we have actual on-the-field results to dissect, it’s nice to see Manny running up the score on the off-season.

Gotta have a ruthless ******* to win in college football and it looks like we’ve checked that box.

So I'm at the Nike coaching clinic in Orlando tonight. (notice I said Nike)

Willie Taggart is here with his whole FSU staff. After Willie gives his clinic, the whole FSU staff does "break out sessions" where all of the position coaches go into separate rooms and give their own short clinics.

So Manny Diaz and staff show up right before the breakout session in all of their Adidas gear and start throwing a full-on frat party (in a separate room) handing out free beers to all High School coaches...DURING FSU's BREAK OUT SESSION!! lol

So instead of the high school guys attending the FSU breakout sessions, they were all heading towards the Miami Hurricanes party. (Hello, free beer!)
Manny was tossing beers around to coaches, taking pictures, choppin' it up with the high school guys, etc.

Everybody was like "this is an epic, gangster *** stunt." LOL

Manny's response...
"This is what we're trying to bring back to The U, that F-U type of swagger."

They're leaving tomorrow morning. They came all this way just to crash FSU's clinic. LOL
What an epic move. And let me tell you something, he has this place buzzing right now. High School guys from all over the state are at this clinic and they're talking about Miami's stunt tonight.

OTHER TIDBITS FROM TONIGHT:

*Miami just offered Justin Hodges of Western High, a 6'2" Corner who's in the Blades family.

*The Mandarin QB really really likes Miami. He's not as much of a UF lean that people think he is. That's directly from a Mandarin High coach who's here.

*When talking about Miami, Manny basically said... the last two regimes were on something different. Golden was trying to make it Penn State and Richt was trying to make it Georgia. Manny just wants to let Miami be Miami. He wants dawgs and he wants Miami kids to "be Miami kids."

*This is how real Manny is...
My buddy is the HC at Western High. When Western upset Atlantic this year in the playoffs, Manny Diaz texted my buddy right after the game to congratulate him. My buddy didn't have a single player on his team with a Miami offer, and Manny still reached out to him. That's unheard of. Most college coaches don't even pay attention to you unless you have a player of their caliber. Manny is a visionary and extremely forward-thinking. In the event that my buddy does have a kid who is Miami caliber, you can bet your *** that my buddy wouldn't hesitate to send his kid to Manny/Miami. Manny clearly knows how important it is to establish relationships with the local high school coaches.
Great stuff man! Thank you for the post! I totally and truly LOVE IT! It's GREAT (again) to be a Miami Hurricane! GO CANES!!! Manny is the undisputed KING of THE U!

I know some of yall might not be aware of or like the Big3Rollup podcast but comedian Benji Brown, who is a huge FSU fan from south florida said on an episode last year that he was hanging out with the Miami coaches and Manny was cool as ****. Like so cool he almost flipped to Miami lol. Said Manny was buying him shots.

He gave Manny plenty props, firmly believes he's the right man for the iob. It was interesting to listen to an fsu fan speak on meeting and hanging with Manny.
Did you hear the Willy Impression.

Sadly, these stayed on ice all night back in the Tagfart junior suite. He fell asleep watching an old episode Hangin' with Mr. Cooper after he grew tired of his noise complaints about Manny's bash being completely disregarded.

Ohhhh, Willie T. You poor poor *******.

I love this, but I am curious to what level of awareness Manny and staff have for the uf game. like do they realize just how big and important that game is? for recruiting, for national relevance? the last 4 big "neutral" site games we've played, we have been destroyed.

anyone on here that has communication with the staff have an idea?

I think they're more focused on UNC the week following. Conference games, bro. The goal is to win the Coastal.

I'm sure it's just another game to a man who has been a Miami fan his entire life and is now the head coach. Why do fans think coaches are oblivious to the obvious?
