We Got ****** Robbed

Worst loss ever!! I overdosed on NyQuil that night so I can go to sleep. It still bothers me that we only have one championship from that era of great players

Terry Porter is lucky to be walking around eating solid foods.

He should be looking forward to new coloring books every Christmas.

i will never get over that call, but i do enjoy seeing every ohio st misfortune and suffering from both of their championship game losses to winning 24 in a row and not even getting a shot at the title once.... i know that missed opportunity last year and this year will gnaw their fans for years wondering what if and when i think about that it makes me feel a little better

You should have shelled out 2K in tickets, travel etc and kiss your wife after we scored and said that is 6!! then we heard the roar of the crowd, I knew we would never leave there with the ship......

couldnt even watch espn yesterday, couldnt stand watching an fsu qb win the heisman even though he deserved it, and i definitely couldnt watch that maurice clarrett s#!T

I didn't turn on my TV/computer or read a news paper for at least a week after that game. I don't care to watch it again, especially from an OSU perspective. **** one of my best buddies is an OSU fan and even he says we got robbed.

Could you imagine where we would be right now if that call doesn't happen?

Think Alabama is a dynasty?

We might have won 5 straight championships.

This thought has haunted me for years.

LULZ

That loss didn't cause depth issues, or horrific OC hires.

The entire staff got lazy off the hard work Davis put into finding all those great players that fueled this program during that run.

So you're saying win or loss we would be right here anyway? After back to back chips? GTHOH.

Sorry buddy, but your off your marker on this. This program was headed downward the moment Coker was named coach. All that winning, and staking claim to back to back titles would not have changed the outcome.

Coker did nothing in recruiting to change the outcome that was inevitable. Going into the 03 season we had 4 play makers. Gore, Parrish, Winslow, and Hester. Hester was nothing more than a return specialist. Gore went down in the 5th game. We had nothing at receiver outside of Parrish, and Winslow was truly the only thing we had going for us.

After those 4 players left. Scratch your head to even find someone close to resemble what they even did. That one game didn't cause this lack of depth, or lack of play makers. When we did win a title, and were winning in the early 2000's under Coker he never replaced what was leaving. With equal talent.

The QB position was pinned on Berlin, and Wright. Nothing else was done to secure we would have competition at the position.

It was Coker, not Porter who killed this program.

They let both teams battle in the secondary all game long and then make that call on the decisive play. That's what irked me. If you make that call on the first possession of the game and establish it as the standard, I wouldn't have been bothered.

This man is correct right here.

Ball was tipped at the line. Which is why Gamble looks to have mistimed his jump and why it came floating in like a wounded duck. Everything after that is a moot point. Tipped at line = no p.i.

I think it was Joseph. Look at the replay from the game. His big mitt reaches up and it started wobbling.

I hafta put my 2 cents in on this as well, worst call I have ever seen live with a vested interest in the game. I mean seriously at the very worst it should have been called off-setting pass interference and replay the down. Gamble was soo anxious to make the play he basically warped sharpe's jersey so that you couldn't see the #3 in his 31 jersey. And of all this the thing that still drives me crazy is the next play that claret the scores on Sean Taylor is off the field because he celebrated and threw his helmet in the air when the green and white confetti was being shot out of those cannon and his ear pad comes out so he goes to the sideline and misses the next play. Now of course we can't assume but I'd of course much rather have Sean Taylor on the field than Greg threat in a championship capacity and that's obviously not news to anyone on this board. I just remember flipping out at the end of the game with tears rolling down my face and sweat pouring out of every pore from wanting to see a buckeye fan say one word to me. I'm still not over it and that loss actually made me much more synical in watching sports because to me there is no way in **** that flag should've been thrown. Sorry for the rant guys.
