You act like he has a bunch of talent on defense and he is misusing guys, none of these guys are all conference or all americans.
 
We've been getting gashed for three long years now on defense and the excuse has always been talent. The talent seems fine this year and we've gotten better results, but not good enough.

Name one player on our defense who is an all american or all conference player..
 
wrong.. The excuse, a valid one at that, was youth and inexperience.. That's no longer really an issue and supported by the improvement in defensive numbers. Overall talent level remains an issue this year. We'll start seeing Al's hard work in recruiting come to fruition next year and beyond..

Depth is an issue not talent, their are some wholes but so what.....

The defense isnt filled w/ JAGS the d-line isnt anywhere near as talented as FSUs but Miami got more talent then most teams in the country.

So all of that is an excuse.... the problem is the stupid *** assignments.

Having Shayon Green constantly running w/ his back turned away from the LOS into zone is the dumbest **** i've ever seen.

Having three 240 pound LBs play safety most of the game is ridiculous and not trusting the talent of our DBs when they are the best unit on defense, aside from AJ Highsmith is embarrassing.

Where is the 9 technique we were all talking about this year?..... Tyriq McCord and David Gilbert were suppose to be coming off the edge standing up like Jarvis Jones. Where is it? the only person I see standing up on the D-line is Shayon Green smh.

Denzel Perryman, Tracy Howard, Rayshawn Jenkins, Ladarius Gunter.


and i bet Anthony Chickillo or Shayon Green makes a 2nd or 3rd All ACC team.

Exactly that is entirely on corch D'onofrio.... why the **** do we allow teams to convert one 3rd down or 4th down after the other?

How is that a talent issue if we do a good job on 1st and 2nd downs?
 
Howard and Perryman are the only ones. Of course none of good players are on the D-line; most important position.

If Perryman stays consistent these last 4 games he should make 1st team ALL ACC. He's the only LB in the conference thats a semi finalist for the butkus award..
