I hope yall know he has rejected psu twice..and nfl teams...obviously there is something about him that these other teams want..b4 a coach can do anything yall wanna fire him..what other coach would want to coach a program with a poor fanbase like ours that yell for wins but won't go to the games to support...stop living in the past...yall messed up chasing butch away..dont make that mistake again chasing away a possible dynasty building coach...this is he best we've played since we got handled by lsu in the chicfila bowl

I don't care that Al interviewed with PSU. I don't blame him at all for that part of this. I blame him for letting it linger, but even that I understand. I'm more mad that he didn't take the job. I was hoping he was gone and dreaming of Butch, Chud, or Schiano, all of whom would have been upgrades over Golden and his stubborn ideals. It's depressing because we were THIS close to making a decisive move that would have had us back in a short time frame. Golden staying ruins all of that.

there is a huge difference between pulling yourself out of a job you were offered vs saving face when you pull out of a job you weren't getting.
doubt we ever get the truth because all sides have an incentive to spin it.
that said, dude lost me over last few days. i don't begrudge him listening, most would if you are reasonable, and maybe it was out of his hands on the pace of events.
but f it, i don't care the excuse. burnt through his bank account for me.
his shinebox boy needs to go.
and we can all be as mad as we want, including at any jerk telling us not to be.

I don't know if there is a right way for golden to handle this situation. He obviously had some interest in the PSU job (from what i've been told PSU was his dream job). If golden announces on friday "I have no interest in penn state" then he interviews on Saturday. He looks like a liar. If he said Penn State is my alma mater, if they want to talk to me I feel I should listen. The story is Golden is look for a better job. If he says nothing he gets killed for silence.

I'm mad at him because he sucks and his own momma Ped State didn't even want him. He tried to go home to momma, and momma said, "Imma pass, son. Good luck." I'll stay mad at him until he takes his fat sweaty con game somewhere else.
