For all of you that's mad at Golden don't forget what the University did to him. Blindsided him with Allegations that he had nothing to do with. Remember what goes around comes around. I know I'll get negged a lot for this post but it is the truth. And I think Travonte Valintine wanted to decommitt anyway that's not Golden's Fault. If you want to be apart of the University of Miami you will be no matter what Ask Duke Johnson.

How can the kids trust him again he was ready to leave.............. i think that **** got told no thanks and came back................ if I'm a player i don't look at him as one of US anymore just an opinion.

**** this premise...Golden got a contract extension he didn't deserve out of not being told about the nevin BS...now we are stuck with his buyout til 2020. He had no right to pull this **** and now must atone by making staff changes bye dorito, Kehoe, and franklin

Come on we can't expect every recruit to be like Duke Johnson. That's why we need good recruiters.. to convince players on the fence to come here. We got blown out in our bowl game and then Golden disappeared. I'm surprised more didn't decommit.

Are you ******* serious? The only reason he isn't viewed as a complete failure by everyone is because of those sanctions. The only reason he has a contract through 2020 is because of those sanctions. He should be sucking UM's **** he got hit with those sanctions.
 
the silence was golden. that's what most were ****ed about. he could have said when my alma mater and mentor's school comes calling the least I can do is listen.
 
he turned psu down a few years ago. He obviously turned them down again because his statement sounds like he pulled himself out of any contention. The PSU almuni actually want him. Everyone forgets in his opening press conference here he said "I was always amazed how no coach stayed here more than 5 years. i want to change that" He always said he wanted to be here long term. Also, coach d said "Played for penn state but I was a miami fan. i just wasnt fasted enough to get offered"
That being said, I want to win and win now. i was very ****ed because i thought he was gone. However, we have to hope for the best now which starts by closing this great 2014 class out.
