Hey Big Wayne, thanks for the info bruh. I know that your kid's gonna stunt at The U. He's got all the tools & he's a fighter obviously, plus Green & White always perform in the Orange & Green. Chandler is a straight baller, he played 14u with James & Nayquan & the Gang. He switched over for that one year and fit right in, so it's safe to say that kid has a 4* talent trajectory.

Great insights. You know we eat that stuff up. Happy you were pleased with Steed's performance. Glad to see your trio all had positive outlook on the camp. One thing I rarely hear is coaches, family and friends emphasizing community service and the impact they can make in their own communities by being present. Many of the local kids would love nothing more than to be able see somebody from their neighborhood be present while ascending in college. I know The U does Community Service work all the time, but the impact of Pompano, Carol City, Miami Gardens etc, kids to see and talk to you on a more regular bases has a huge impact. Let your son know what a positive impact his local presence will mean to the kids and adults in his community.

Trust me, he knows and he has a lot of people looking up to him being the oldest of 6 siblings and he has at least 15 cousins in the Miami Dade county area. The Miami staff also spoke to us about all the community service stuff that they plan on doing every summer (at least 15 events per summer), so that will help with that also. I will definitely make sure he understands the importance of mentoring kids whenever he gets an opportunity!!!

**** we are spoiled over here. We go from Papa Shaq to Steed Sr...two well-versed, outspoken individuals that bleed orange and green, their kids bleed orange and green, and they are on a great path to success. Thank you guys...I truly feel privileged to be able to view your perspective on things at the U. Nothing but the best of wishes to you and your son Mr. Steed. I will always have a special rooting interest in your boy just like Shaq from here on out.

Here is one of Steed's reps during 1on1's. Sorry for the pure camera action but I was pumped!!!

I want to express my deep gratitude to the both of you for giving us inside feed into the program; expressing it from a parents view. I don't know how many other parents of prospects/players are on this board, but gentlemen, you two add a different element to our chats. Congratulations to you both, and I look forward to seeing your sons playing on Saturdays wearing that orange and green!

Pretty sure he's '18, I don't think they had any kids that old on that squad

I don't know if you saw him or not but how did the Louisiana LB Chris Allen look?

I didn't really see anybody that made a name for themselves other than Steed. Bradley Jennings did alright and there was a kid that looked the part but he was very stiff. He would probably be moved to DE. He wore jersey number 127 yesterday.

Yes I just googled Chris Allen and now I'm sure this was the kid that passes the eye test. He was very stiff, he kept getting in to take reps during 1on1's but he lost most of the reps. I think he would make a great DE if he is aggressive enough but he is not a LB in my opinion!!!

Yo Big Wayne, first let me say thank you for your contribution both to our team & to this site. As a lifelong Cane fan, I will root for your son as if he was my own, that kid is talented as **** & you've clearly done a good job raising him, congratulations man!
All I wanted to ask was, did you see Deandre Wilder there & if not, do you know what's up with him?

Thank you bro!!! Wilder was a no show. I really don't know what's going on with him. I was really looking forward to seeing him and James Houston work but I didn't see either of them at the camp yesterday.

Wayne31, you said Jennings did alright. What's your take on him? Having fun or serious about possibly flipping? Does he the talent to take reps away from the gang on the new LB-U? Any bond between Steed and Jennings?

Jennings told Steed that he was still thinking about making the flip and I think he was very serious about it. I honestly think If they are going to try to flip somebody, it should be Miller. I would even like to see Houston or maybe even Wilder at the other LB being that they are both South Florida kids.
