It's clear that the staff decided to prioritize the portal and 2026 class months ago. We all knew in general this class would have lighter numbers than our previous two seasons. Even if we went 12-0 and had an above average defense, would we have really landed guys like Picket and Hanks? Probably not. In my opinion, our ranking is not a depiction of the quality of players we have in this class. Ex: Toney, Wiley, Schott, Pringle, Moore, SJ, Buchannan, Newton

I thought an interesting take away was how Mario mentioned Dawson by name a couple times and never once said anything about Guidry....
