Not trying to be a dlck, but what is the goal of these posts?

I think everyone knows we haven't done squat since 2003. I think everyone knows we have been in the dumps for some time.

Well, last time I checked, this was a message board where we discuss things, like the state of Miami football for example, not a hippie campfire where we sing kumbaya and tell each other it's going to be alright.

Now you tell me something. What drives someone, like yourself, to respond to a thread they don't like? If you think it's pointless, don't hit reply. Really not that hard, unless you're just looking for attention.

At the end of the day, which is coming closer we will find out what Al is made of. There are tough decisions, but need to be made and the question really is if he has the foresight, vision and the balls. Assuming he will or won't dig in on those issues at this point is foolish. I believe his focus is on the game Friday.

My point being, how posters are so sure its going to be the same old same old. Face it Al may or may not be the real deal, everyone has an opinion that should be respected although the intensity and frequency of many threads wind up ending with the same debate which is old and stale. Al is we got, he is going to be running the ship for a while and IMO has done a lot of good things and some not so good. Can he improve?

IMO, whether it is a "tough" or "necessary" decision, a decision MUST be made. My guess is that Al won't change the DC, while some position coaches may change and certain play calling may change. I believe Al will roll with his guy.

I believe that changing the DL Coach and upgrading the talent will only make an impact but not as much as the one that we could change if we upgraded the DC as well.

I like to understand a poster's thought process. While I never said I don't like it, I was curious why it was posted. Feel free to post, I was only asking.

I like to understand a poster's thought process. While I never said I don't like it, I was curious why it was posted. Feel free to post, I was only asking.

Because I'm a historian, and I live for this kind of ****. Also, I thought it was it interesting and relevant regardless of my personal interests.

Hmmm....maybe this year's performance isn't out of whack as much as expectations were. 8-3 looks even better.

Never expected, though I hoped, we'd get FSU. VT was figured to be a fight while though Duke was a shame it wasn't the calamity many labeled it.

Please do not listen to these posters, you always add value to Cane websites and it is appreciated.

The sad part about our record against the ACC is that the ACC has never been a strong conference. I believe we would have struggled against the Big East had we stayed. It's just sad and pathetic we have not been able to bring this program back to what it once was.
