Walford back in Miami with the Fins?

Im not but when you clear cap space and haven't spent much of anything it's a head scratcher on why you cleared cap space to begin with. Have we signed any effing LB's either? You act as if they deserve the benefit of the doubt for years of success in personnel moves. Ireland was bad, Tannebaum is worse.

It seems to me three reasons:

They truly believe in Stephone Anthony they traded a draft pick for him last year.

They plan to draft a linebacker early
If they don’t get the guy they want in the draft they can always sign a veteran

When they asked Adam Gase about tj mcdonald at the press confrence he did not seem impressed with him as a safety. I could see us drafting as much as I hate him Derwin James and moving McDonald to linebacker. That’s is if smith or Edmunds don’t make it to 11.

Dolphins need a little bit of everything. At least he'd be a TE that would catch passes and keep the LBs and safeties honest unlike the rest of the duds we have. I'd take him in a heatbeat. Plus he's a CANE so.....

On another note, can someone please tell me why we brought in Osweiller?

We were way over the cap. We have almost no money to spend until June 1st when Suh 17 million comes off the cap. So we in fact cant spend money at this Time. I believe they have like 5.8 million in cap room until June. But yes Tannebaum does suck.

Everyone we've had in the last 2 decades has sucked not named JJ or Parcells. Everyone! Pretty sad that guys that get paid so much can swing and miss time after time after time.

tj mcdonald came into the line up at the end of the season and INSTANTLY looked better than anything else they have trotted out there. Nate Allen is one of the worst safeties ive seen. I dont see them drafting Derwin James at all...im sure they are good with Reshad Jones and TJ Mcdonald...with Aikens and Michael Thomas behind them.

They like Stephone Anthony because someone in our front office was the one that drafted him. But they were extremely high on Raekwon Mcmillon who will be back. I feel we have had the worst lb core in the league the last 2-3 years. Still feel so...think they need to bring in a free agent now and draft and Lb early...im talking in the first 2 rounds early.

Don’t disagree I liked McDonald a lot in preseason and he is definitely better then Nate Allen but him and jones play the same position. We need a ball hawk.

Go listen to Adam Gase talk yesterday he is a pretty open guy and comes out and says McDonald and jones didn’t work as well as they did in preseason. We pay McDonald 1.5 million this year don’t be surprised when we draft a free safety.

I also don’t want Derwin James for obvious reason but there is a lot of smoke if the linebackers don’t make it to us.

Need LB or OL in the 1st and/or 2nd rounds. I like the LB from Boise. Some are comparing him to Kuechly.

the 2014-2016 losses to FSU where absolutely brutal the walk home from the bar in 2016 was perhaps one of my lowest moments as a Canes fan.

Nah. Gase has said himself that McDonald's play didnt add up to what he saw during the off season. Sounded disappointed. Michael Thomas just signed with NYG and Aikens is nothing but a glorified special teams player. They like Maurice Smith, the undrafted FS, but no one really pushing the needle at S.

We do need a LB but they can't sign one until June 1 when Suh's salary comes off the books. Seems like they're going in the bring a vet and have him tutor a young player route. Navorro Bowman wouldn't be a bad add. Don't think we can spend a 1st, especially at 11th, for a non-Kuechly type talent. The pick will most likely be Derwin, Minkah, or Vita Vea.

Can bowman guard a tight end? The Georgia linebacker would be the best pick we can get this draft he was al over the field every game I watched. He flashed liked a smaller Rueben foster.

On a side note I don’t watch FSU unless the play us is Derwin James that good? Don’t feel like I have seen anything special but know the Ramsey comparisons were there in the beginning.
