Mario saw what D should look like at Bama during his time with Saban. His Oregon teams D was good to very good. This will be fixed next year not worried. Keep the O like it is and we will continue to improve with a functioning team at all 3 phases.
Thank you, Mrs. Mario’s burner phone for that

year four should do the trick

As I've said for most of the last two months, all I expect from this D is to get enough stops. I don't expect them to consistently stop anyone, because they can't. Just give me 1-2 stops per half. That's all, and by stops, i mean not giving up touchdowns. If they can do that, this O can and should be able to get the job done. It's frustrating to have such low expectations but it is what it is. I don't think Guidry returns next season, and honestly, I can't justify him doing so. One can argue that last year's D was worse from a talent perspective(Outside of having more talent on the backend) and they NEVER looked this bad.

This is the part where Guidry just keeps doing what he's doing for two more quarters before having his epiphany in the fourth.
He's never adjusts, he said it himself he waits for the other team to go back to their core plays. No adjustments ever made.

You'd think that pride would kick in at some point with the guys on D and they'd get tired of being this trash. It's like they're fine with being this bad.
Nope they just get their **** pushed in no problem. No leaders just collecting their nil money.

He did adjust. They went from man to zone and now communication is an issue.

At some point the players need to be held accountable, too. Not just blame Guidry for everything
Still blame Guidry. The issues were not only scheme, but personnel. Your upper classmen are done/toast, Ride or die with the youngsters
