He stepped inside to the DT who was flanked outside, then was late getting back out. maybe he expected a chip by one of the guys flanking him and didn't get it. maybe he expected a run and didn't think he needed to do much but flow that outside guy. i don't really know. but one play does not make a guy bad. he's been good. cam make multiple poor plays a game with erratic throws or questionable decisions and everyone screams heisman and #1 overall pick. the roller coaster rides on here are amazing

The first half of your response is 61. He isn’t a great athlete so he needs to do things right. Why take a big step inside and give the rusher a shorter path to the QB. U know he is allowed to have his inside hand up to slow the DT while being in position and having his eyes in his man. As u saw he didn’t do either of those. He did the one thing you can’t.

He is out of position a lot and gets bodied with speed. I get it he’s a highly rated croot. But he isn’t a 1st rounder with his play. Maybe the make up but not his play this year
