Even in highlights, still seeing penetration, against woeful opponents. Just like last year, where Duke and Mike would regularly have to make a guy in the backfield miss just to try and get a couple of yards.

I suppose there were back-up offensive linemen on many of those plays, but this is still a seemingly never-ending issue with Kehoe OLs.

I think the Bell comparison is great. I think Gus has better short burst and long speed than Bell, but Bell has better lateral quickness. That guy would make some defenders look pretty silly last year at MSU with some of his cuts. IMO, Gus and Bell have a really similar build and running style, and that's where the comparison comes from. They're both tall, long as ****, and have that wiry bulk to them. I hope that Gus can approach the type of production that MSU got out of Bell because he was a flat out stud as a senior.

That being said, I think Gus a ******* animal, and I want to find out who's driving that bandwagon (band bus?) and assassinate them so I can drive that ***** myself. I'm really high on him and I think he has a chance to be a great to elite back.

Meh...you guys making a mountain out of mole hilll.... He looks good, serviceable...but i dont see anything great I see good..
