I don't like our chances with the oakleaf boys or derek wingo and I'm not sure which qb we'll land but I'm confident Enos will get someone of worth.

1 QB
Evan Prater

2 RB

Don Chaney Jr.
Caziah Holmes

3 WR
Bryan Robinson
Marcus Fleming
Mookie Cooper (I predict JT kills it this year in this offense and influences another St.Louis kid to later come)

1 TE
Dominic Mammarelli

6 OL (we need talent and depth)
Issiah Walker Jr.
Gerald Mincey
Jonathan Denis
Antonio Smith
RJ Adams
Cayden Baker

4 DL (I think no Riggins and Anaele. Think a local kid rises later in senior season for 2nd end spot (Chris Jones. Also Kinsler, Wati Huggins or Claude Larkins).

Willie Moise
Elijah Roberts
Johnny Walker
Chris Jones

3 LB (I think one local kid emerges later in year. Hyppolite)
Tirek Austin-Cave
Reuben Hyppolite
Jamari Stewart

1 striker/pseudo lb
Keshawn Washington

5 DB (I think two safeties and three cb. Stanley as the smaller, quicker, nickel cb following suit with Bandy/Couch. Important with increasing pass heavy offenses).

Jaiden Francois
Ladarius Tennison
Jalen Harrell
Avantae Williams
D. Stanley

26 total recruits

4 out of state
From South FL tri-county area: 14 total

I'll be surprised if the oakleaf boys don't go to Georgia unfortunately lol

I don't think we have space for 6 DL after our large DL group for 19.

They are going for 2 TEs

The gaytors are closer to his home. Maybe he comes back but i think that's the likely battle not Oregon.

If the decision on a university is based upon the needs of his son, which it should be as his Father, then I think Williams lands in Coral Gables. I’d hate for him to end up at UFag but recognize that they’ve been putting CB’s into the league for some time now. I just can’t see Oregon winning out even though they have the early commit.

Oh God No

Leave these imaginary lists for Gaytors. These things are like a curse. I learned my lesson last year.

Ivins said we are only taking 2 interior OL and smith just took one of the spots. That leaves Denis, Adams and Leonard to battle for the final interior OL spot. They are volume shooting for Tackles right now and trying to get as many on campus as possible. Says Walker and Dummervill are at top of the board. Others Barry likes are Mincey and Rivers. Out of state guys to know are Deondre Buford and Jimmie Christ.

Why no anaele and riggins?

Anaele has been changing schools a lot and looks like he's at a diploma factory=red flag. Hope I'm wrong.

Riggins (if you check the idiotic thread I commented in before about him where people were high fiving each other about him tough talking the camp scene and saying he will prove it on the field....yet he hasn't played in two years and even then he was a backup as a sophomore. Also that conversation somehow equated Sitkowski being a camp guy/no production on the field to being the inverse of Riggins which made absolutely no sense. But I gave up because of the stupidity. Another idiot claimed that because he 'knew' him somehow that also justified Riggins tough talk (but never playing or competing in any capacity didn't seem to matter.....))

did not play last year, and was I think primarily a backup his sophomore year (see parentheses). Unless he DESTROYS his senior year (which is obviously possible) because he doesn't seem to want to compete (or play) at all, I think it's absurd to have him still in the class at this point.

A few thoughts...

I would think Prater is the most likely QB right now just based on what I've read. Any insight on King or just a feeling/hope?

Derek Wingo will not be in this class. He's going OOS.

No Cane Berong or his cousin? Numbers may be tight, but with a name like Cane...

Like @twes.305 said, you have us dropping Antoine Smith already? You might be right, but that cold blooded.

I'd try to keep all these lists to 25 for realism. I seem to recall we used most of our extra counters on transfers and walkons (depending on the timing of scholarships for walkons), but there are other threads on the topic.

I’m thinking it’s going to be Prater as well, who’s a heckuva QB to snag for 2020. I also believe once Cane has his visit that with the backing of his family, that he will commit giving us another coup at the TE position. Agree as well on Wingo; I’d love to have him sign up but see him going OOS also.

We did use 2019 with the extra transfers to fill slots/counters for 2020. I also think we’ll use another one on an additional OL for this season after Spring practices break, and new OL hit the Portal looking for playing time. That would mean a class, as you stated, in the 25 player ballpark and not anything higher.
