These guys are professionals. They wouldn't do it if they were a professional. This is the same reason why a player goes from the Boston Red Sox to the Yankees (i.e. Damon) and still gives it his all and plays to his best.

Do you think Fisch took the job at Miami to be a spy for Florida for the 2013 game? Or maybe he took the job to intentionally tank the offense...wait there may be evidence of that.

Allow me to say that EVERY and I mean EVERY good football coach Ive ever met in my life has been an arrogant ***. They are meniacal animals. They often will develop hard and fast rules for things that should be variable. One of those is typically dealing with player parents. Quite frankly, Im amazed that the kid wasnt kicked off the team for old man Robinson's actions. THAT is how most head coaches would have handled it. My guess is that golden only handled it differently because he needs depth.

It's what they grew up with. Prior to college it wasnt such a large business and some coaches just did coaching because they enjoyed it. They were not career coaches and as such did not respond to cash incentives as their simply weren't any. At this level, the whole not playing someone you hate is much more common. Then they hit college, face problems and revert to experience they have to draw from

My issue with Golden isn't playing the best players. It's with not playing them enough. We rotate in the 2nd string way too much, especially on defense. If the backups were good enough to be starting then they wouldn't be backups. Yeah rotating players keeps the starters fresh, but what's the point of all that UTough talk about our players being in such great shape if we have to sub them out all the time to keep them fresh?

Somebody has to play. It's clear that the staff doesn't think Jenkins is ready, because Bush is basically a starter at this point but J can't sniff a snap.


BTW, it speaks volumes about our overall talent level that Kacy is still seeing snaps with Highsmith and Telemaque still around. Only time can heal this wound.

I think it was on Monday w/ Rose but Golden said he thinks Jenkins is going to be a good S but he's not really ready yet.
