Ventrell Miller 2017 LB - Kathleen (FL)

Yes lawd. Let's get this savage on board early. If we're just taking 3 LBs, put me in the group who wants Steed, Miller and Wilder. Put that with last year's LB class and we are well on our way. I wouldn't be mad at taking a 4th, Houston or F,agot would be good with me, take F,agan at SS and call it a day.

I could see us actually taking 4 lbs this cycle. With Wilder, Miller, Stead with a toss up of ***ot and Marhichol. Build some serious depth with some ballers

This class will have 5-6 early enrollees and 25 in the fall. Plenty of room for 4 LB's.

Terry McCray and Mike Smith have very little future here.

Great closing speed (as noted above)...love how he slides thru the blockers to get to the ball-carrier, good patience, my only question (not being in SoFla) is what level of competition does Kathleen play against? Plays like a man among boys...
The Polk County area has pretty decent competition. What keeps these schools competitive is that besides Lakeland, Polk County is mostly land and orange groves. Talent isn't as spread out.

The coaches have said they're looking at two LB'ers in this class. I could see 3 just because of the wealth of talent it would be hard to pass up. 4? No way

Guess I'm the only one not sold on this guy. I would rather have F'agan from the ridge.

Miller is small at 6'0 and doesn't appear to be that explosive/twitchy as everyone makes him out to be. He does look strong and physical, but I question his sideline to sideline speed, and coverage ability.

When he impacts human beings...they move backwards

More of that please

What film did you watch? He showed very good sideline to sideline speed. Did you see the plays he made chasing down the te in the flat and running across field to make plays?

6'0 doesn't matter. Shaq is only 6'0-6'1, pinckney is 6'0. **** perryman was 5'10-5'11.

This guy is a good fit as a mlb.

Kids film is outstanding... I think we only have room for two LBs in this class and he should be one of them.
