Vegas

You guys who come to Vegas must be pretty flush. Vegas was great when it was a gambling Mecca. Corporations have turned the town in to a circus attraction. Vegas offers very little value for the buck . Room rates with rediculous resort fees, paying to park and they’ll kill you on those free drinks.

Not flush at all. Joined Caesars Rewards. Get comps for rooms during the week and decent rates for Saturdays. Resort Fees do suck & don't drive there so no parking for me.

There are few dumpier dumps than the dump that is Pigeon Forge.
We were there for 4 days then drove to Atlanta. A lot of hiking and mini golf. They take their mini golf serious there. Course are 100 times better than the ones in Chicago.

Was there this spring (wife wanted to go).

Maybe it was the Titanic Museum (in the shape of the Titanic).
Maybe the Alcatraz Museum (in the shape of a prison)
Maybe the infinite supply of funnel cakes and cotton candy.
Maybe the infinite supply of massively overweight white folks (FD, I'm as white as the come)
Maybe the infinite supply of Dolly Parton everything.

Will. Never. Go. Back.

Oh man the resort fees are a joke. $45 a night…for what long distance calls, WiFi, and fitness room access.

I’ll be honest I wasn’t looking forward to it since I’m more of a tropical guy. But the weather and scenery was beautiful and there was a lot to do. We didn’t do any of that museum stuff.
